poor bloke, that would scare him.

Have you been good this year?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 22:53

Oh I'm sure that you have. Maybe you should go to see Santa :-D

I now have a mental picture of you sitting on Santa's knee in a department store whispering into Santa's ear. :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Dec 2013 22:50

I don't think so, I haven't been very good this year :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 22:43

Well it's very important that Father Christmas now knows where to take her presents. Otherwise she'd have you all screaming down the motorway on Christmas Day :-D to fetch them from her house

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Dec 2013 22:39

Her mum took her to see Father Christmas at the shopping centre. They explained to him that they won;t be at home at Christmas, so he knows where to take the presents to now :-D

I think I will get on with the new GP very well. She is very young, and was interested, unlike my old GP who just liked writing scripts.

I am very grateful to Sue for painting the wall for me. She is a nice person and will always help if she can, but I would never take advantage of that.

Yes - Eve will be expecting to find Christmas at Grandma's :-D. So you had better be prepared :-D.

I am glad that your new doctor is taking more interest in you. I hope she manages to sort your main out.

What a lovely neighbour you have, it must be nice to have the lounge finished at last.

We haven't put our decorations up yet, I will hang on for a bit, but will have to put them up before my daughter arrives

Hello Linda,

Met my new GP for the first time on Friday. She is very nice, and very thorough. She had obviously read my notes before I saw her.
Anyway, she has increased the morphine considerably, and another pain killer that I take. The pain is much more bearable now. She asked me to let her know how things go over the weekend, as she wants to find a balance between the medication and my pain threshold.

Had a nice weekend with daughter. She did a big shop on Saturday, so now the freezer, fridge, and pantry are bulging.
Sil didn't come as he is busy painting his father's house prior to selling.

After daughter left, Sue from next door arrived to paint the wall that never got finished in the lounge. It had been irritating me hugely, so I am very appreciative - that was very kind.
She is coming back on Tuesday to put the Christmas tree up :-)

I'm not surprised you fell asleep watching the TV, Diane. What a big day for you! Did you expect all of those people? and if not - how did you feed them all?
I should talk! I'm madly eating up what was delivered on Thursday, because I can't find an inch of space in either my fridge-freezer or my other freezer! Christmas! I still have more to get but can't buy it until I make room for it. I have seriously been thinking of buying a bigger freezer - and I live alone!!
Yes, we got our 30c to-day Bill. 34 tomorrow and all week expected to be in the thirties.

Hello all,

I saw all the damage done on the East side of our coast :-(
My Nephew put some picture's up of all the rubbish that was washed up on New Brighton prom which is on the North coast of the UK, it was unbelievable how much rubbish there was washed up onto the promanade pavements :-( I will see if I can upload then onto FB so those that I have as friends can see them.

Well I had a very busy and tiring day, my grandson arrived with his dad ( my son ) at around 11-30am then about an hour later my oldest grand-daughter arrived ( the one that live's with me. My daughter and another grand-daughter arrived about 1-30pm and we all had dinner. We all had a good time with my grandson even though he was very quite but as it is 6yrs since he has seen us that was only to be expected. Around 3pm it was time for his dad to take him back home so we manage to persuade grandson to have his picture taken with us all. So I think our time with him went well for a first visit. The grand-daughter that came with her mum left and about an hour later her younger sister arrived and then my daughter cooked tea for us all, daughter and her youngest daughter left around 7-30pm and then my eldest grand-daughter got ready for work and left at 8pm.
Peace and quite and all set to watch X-Factor and what did I do I fell asleep half way through it :-(

~~~~~~ to everyone and hope all is well with you :-)
Hello Berona if you are still here. It has started raining here, again. I must don my raincoat and gumboots and go out on the verandah to scrub the slimy growth off it with a stiff broom. I wish there was some way to stop it growing. It needs scrubbing every year.
Well, that wasn't much of a roll-up, was it? Everyone gone to bed early? or off out doing some Christmas shopping?
We have a hot one coming up to-day. 30c - so best to get out and get things done and get back home again before the temp reaches that much.
Tec - I hope you and the duchess are getting as much rest as possible. Take care.
