Hello everyone. It's been quite hot here too - around 31C.

I have been busy all day interviewing people for a scholarship being offered by the organisation I work for. I'm very tired but it was a good day. It will be the same tomorrow.

Today was also our wedding anniversary so we have just come back from a lovely dinner - Thai food....yummy :-D

Goodnight all. Well, I suppose you are all waking up again by now. We have had a hot day to-day (34 here) but I didn't need to switch on the aircon until around 3pm - when I was beginning to feel sleepy. Once the cool air got to me, I was wide awake again.
Hope you enjoy it when you go clothes shopping, Tec. I'm sure you will feel all dapper again with your new clothes - AND new teeth!.

I'm sure you will find something that you will like, when I first saw my dad after he was taken to hospital I didn't recognise him because he had lost about 3 stone in the 12mths of not seeing him. I had to go out and buy him a whole new wardrobe as all his clothes were about 4 sizes to big, I mainly got him teashirts , jumpers and tracky bottoms as they were what were more appropriate for him at the time but I'm guessing the tracky bottoms would not be your choice.

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:31

I don't think they do fashion for old geezers like me :-D

Well I'm off to bed now,

Sleep well Linda, and Diane,

Goodnight,
Tec.

Diane

Diane Report 8 Dec 2013 23:28

I'm sure he does..... don't you Tec :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:28

Diane I don't think that me and new styles are compatable really :-D

I just want some decent clothes that stay on. My trousers are slipping off me, and my shirts and jumpers look like that belong to someone else and are hanging off me.
Together with having to go out with one shoe and one slipper on, I look a right sight :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Dec 2013 23:25

Does Tec know what is fashionable?

Diane

Diane Report 8 Dec 2013 23:20

Oh just think of all the fun you will have choosing from all the new styles Tec :-D

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:20

Yes Diane - I have to go to the technicians house on Friday, and I think I may get them then. He wants me at his workshop to make any adjustments necessary.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:17

I have sent several black bags of clothes to the charity shop.
I do need new clothes as nothing fits anymore, but can I have new clothes for Christmas? sounds boring to me :-)

Diane

Diane Report 8 Dec 2013 23:15

Worth it if it means you can enjoy your christmas dinner, will they be ready in time for christmas ?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Dec 2013 23:14

Well, that will teach you to be more careful with them.

I am sure Santa will bring you something, only you eill have to throw something out to make room for it

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:11

Hello Diane - That was quite a crowd you had at your house, but nice to see everyone together.
Yes it was good of Sue to paint the wall. I never asked her of course, she just turned up in her painting gear and asked me where the paint and covers were :-)

I am having new teeth, but they must count as several years Christmas present, at the price they are :-( enough to bankrupt me

Diane

Diane Report 8 Dec 2013 23:07

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Dec 2013 23:05

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Dec 2013 23:03

Well I suppose I was good earlier in the year, but these past few months I've just caused mayhem disrupting everyone's life. Maybe Santa will know that my intentions were good :-D

I have no idea what I want for Christmas :-(

Diane

Diane Report 8 Dec 2013 23:03

Hello Linda and Tec :-)

Ribena in deed Linda :-D :-D

Tec so glad to hear your new Dr has increased your morphine and made things more bearable for you. That was nice of Taffy's mum to finish off the painting for you and offer to do the christmas tree :-)

Yes Berona I was expecting all 3 grand-daughter's, their mum, my son and grandson, I made chicken curry and chips for those that were their at 2pm and then later after son, grandson and one grand-daughter had left my daughter made evening meal for us which she had brought with her which was broccoli, cailiflower, potatoes and mint lamb chops. For afters I had made apple crumble :-)
