Sounds like you are in for a lovely day. It was dull and overcast here, but mild for December - The sun did appear briefly for about 20 minutes.

My BIL is on a business trip to Perth and complaining about the heat, and the Duchess's sister is just returning to Hong Kong where she lives, after a holiday to the North East, she stayed in Cairns and Cook Town, but living in Hong Kong she is used to the heat and humidity.

Linda ................... we don't normally send our cards out until next week ................ we don't have any cheap post over here, it all goes first class so there's no savings to get them out early.

BUT they are bought (that's early!) and the letter is done ................... so I consider that everything is all ready :-)


I have a little giggle when I hear people in the UK complaining about the cost of sending out Christmas cards ................... we pay about double what you pay!

We send out about 100 cards, at least 60 of them "overseas"


You should hear the trouble we get into if we don't send cards to relatives and friends!




The snow has stopped, but it has not melted, the temperature is dropping ......................... it could be fun tomorrow morning. NOT!

"They" are also forecasting "freezing drizzle" :-S

:-D My snowman was from nine years ago , at the time my first Grandson was very impressed with " The Snowman " , I had created my fellow in the back garden as a surprise . Poor William was scared stiff of it ( being only two at the time ) . I think it was the false teeth that really put him off.........lol
