We are not at all organised for Christmas here. I haven't written any cards yet.
My neighbour offered to put our tree up today, but I had to phone this morning to say I wasn't well enough for all that. So she plans to do it on Friday now.
I was in considerable pain this morning, that didn't wear off till lunchtime, and just wanted to be left alone.

Those that we do normally buy presents for will have to do with money this year. Maybe that's better as they can buy what the actually want.

Good night Linda , I hope you feel refreshed in the morning <3

Sue , Lego is always a good choice , one of the toys that will never fade I believe .

I decided to have a Christmas party for the Grandchildren on Christmas Eve , I don't know if they will all be about at the same time on the day itself , so I've been making little cloth bags ( look like mini shopping bags ) to fill with choc santas etc as " party bags " , it will only be for a couple of hours , I haven't had the whole gang together here since the summer time .

It is quite fantastic when you think back over the years , all the events that have happened to us all and other members of GR . The news we choose to share , happy and sad . There is a real spectram of life that goes on within these " hallowed " boards :-)

Emily will be five in May :-0 she is a proper little " schoolie " these days . When she comes round now she rarely bothers with the toys cupboard and tends to head for the computer or picks up paper and pen , that sort of activity . It is fascinating to see them grow .

Goodnight Linda - hope you feel more rested tomorrow <3

Not much to do now, Amanda - thank goodness. The older ones want gift vouchers and the little ones have told me a number of times what they hope Santa will bring. I just had to make sure that I didn't double up on the Lego the boys want :-)

Thank you Linda :-)

How are everyones Christmas preperations going ?

I've still got a few presents to buy , two of the five December birthdays have past , they are a bit of a nuisence as they complicate my christmas list....lol
I really ought to think about dragging the decorations out of the loft and doing battle with little bulbs and drawing pins :-|
