It's good to discover that you have things in common with your Sil. Hopefully your relationship will develop into a close friendship given time.

I have the nurse calling at 9 am tomorrow to dress my leg, then she wants a blood sample as my new GP is investigating something.
On Monday she took blood for a warfarin test :-( no wonder I'm not too good, they've taken all my blood :-D

I'm finding that I have a number of things in common with my "new" SIL. I think we are going to get on very well :-)

The Duchess is much better thank you. She still has the ocassional coughing spell, but her chest is much looser. She now has an inhaler that helps her.

Very useful that your SIL also likes pot plants. I'm sure that your gift will be appreciated and well received.

How is the Duchess? Is the cough getting any better?

It was very warm here yesterday. I was hoping to do a little gardening but it was too warm. I need to pot up some plants I bought at the markets on Sunday. I bought some succulents that I will put in a nice pot for my SIL. Having just got to know her I am very pleased to find she likes pot plants as much as I do :-D

I deleted about four posts, but there's still at least two there :-(

This morning was difficult and I just stayed on the sofa under a blanket, but things eased this afternoon, and I'm not too bad now thanks

I've hidden Mersey's moped so she can rest after a trip to hospital - there's no keeping that girl down :-D

Today I will finish my Christmas shopping. Having got wish lists off the children I now know what they want. I have checked with my daughter and my son in Hobart so we don't double up. All Lego and Barbies it would seem :-0

I still feel tired, never mind, OH has gone digging at the allotment so I can take things slowly.

I am going to wrap the Christmas presents this morning,although some are still on their way in the post and I can't think what to get for son in law. I have to be organised well ahead of time because I go down to London on the 18th and after that I will have a house full so won't have time to do anything

It is easier Tec although I like giving presents. It's what the older ones want.
