Hi Mersy. I seem to have felt rather lethargic this past month. I think I need more exercise and fresh air. I did drive over the hill to say happy camping to people in the camp ground over there on Christmas day, but there weren't any. The rain had probably put them off. Maybe when I come home from visiting Phil I will go over to see if any campers have turned up.

Good morning and evening all. I must go to visit Phil today. I got a phone call from the Home yesterday to say he had been vomiting. The doc will be visiting him today. I just hope the traffic on the 2 motorways is not too bad. I will have to drive extra cautiously.

Goodness me Allan, surely it isn't Easter all ready.

We are back home, but now have my son and his girlfriend with us,so I still won't have much time to post until they go on Saturday. It is nice to have them here though.

For our first Christmas away from home, the experience was all positive. My daughter and her partner put on two magnificent meals, but there was way two much food. They cooked two turkeys and a ham, lamb curry then all the side dishes.

Then there were the sweets! I didn't indulge in those but I did get well acquainted with a rather nice bottle of red :-D

I think we must have kick started the economy judging by the enormous pile of presents.

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, it is the first time we have tried this, but it seems like a good idea to me

I spoke to Tec briefly and told him that you all were passing on your best wishes

OH has made six dozen mince pies and two trifles to take with us to my daughters. One trifle is for the adults, with alcohol, the other is tor the youngsters...no alcohol but it does contain a revolting blue jelly :-S

Only thing left to make is a pasta salad with a vinaigrette dressing :-D :-D
