We had our niece and great nephew from Western Australia come to visit us for a few hours the other day. It was good to see them in happier circumstances. The last time they were here was for my SIL's funeral.

All is quiet here, but it was nice to have everyone around for a short while

I see your back to normal, nice to have family to stay but also nice to have the peace and quiet ;-)
I had visitors both christmas day and boxing day, so had to cook two christmas dinners and then had a very lazy day yesterday.
I hope Tec is ok I wish things would improve for him, if he had been given the right anti-biotics when his ulcer first got infected he may not be suffering so much now :-(

No matter how many loads of washing I put in, the pile doesn't seem to get any smaller. I think the fairies keep adding things when I am not looking

All my babies have now left and the house is quiet again :-( :-D

The washing machine is running non stop to cope with the amount of towels and bedding we got through

I hope Tec is OK, he sounded very ill when I rang him, but I know his daughter was coming today

Nearly back to normal, we are taking our last visitors to York to catch a train shortly, then we will be on our own. It has been lovely, but manic, so I am looking forward to some peace and quiet

I am just having a quick look in before my son gets up. They are having a lazy start o the day, which suits me fine,although I do miss playing with Eve

Huia - I hope Phil is feeling so much better soon.

The doc didn't visit Phil today, but knows about him. Apparently he has diarrhoea (sp?) . The spelling must be ok as I didn't get a wiggly red line under it as I did under sp?

Phil was in bed. The girl in the office said he was in isolation. Well, they wouldn't want whatever he has to spread through all the other residents. He seemed to have a bit of a rattly cough, but he is on antibiotics.

I went over to the valley and wandered around the camping ground. About 4 lots of campers. I just hope they take care how they dispose of the remains from their BBQs. We don't want a fire. Also lots of mountain bikers.

I will be getting my dinner soon.

Well, that's another Christmas over! Sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves with the company they like best.

Huia - how is Phil? anything serious? I sincerely hope not.

Tec - hope you and the duchess have had a relaxed time, and as free from pain as possible. I've been thinking of you.
