	Happy new year to all. It was a lovely sunny morning when I got up but it is now cloudy. Not that that bothers me as I am not planning to go anywhere. I was fast asleep in bed when the new year came in, almost 10 hours ago - we are 2 hours ahead of the Aussies (further ahead of the Western Aussies). New Zealand leads the way :-D

I'm glad that Esme's operation date has now been arranged. Hopefully, it will help make her more comfortable. <3 <3 Lots of love to Tec and the Duchess. 	Sue will probably be tucked up in bed by now, unless she is still dancing on the tables with Berona :-D Thank you for all your good wishes for Esme. I am pleased that she now has a date for her operation. Or two dates to be exact, on either the 16th or 23rd January,she is due to have her stomach tube put in, so she can get the dreadful nose tube taken out. She managed to leave the tube in while she was here, but my daughter had to take her to Manchester A&E at 6.30am on Boxing Day because she had pulled it out. Poor little mite will be much more comfortable once she has the stomach tube

	A Happy New year to all on the Aussie thread. I hope that 2014 will bring you good or better health, peace and contentment and that those with family members unwell will have good news of them. Wishing Tec to be out of pain and that little Esme's health will improve so she grows big and strong. Ann & her OH. xx

	Not quite squiffy but we've had a very nice meal, good coffee and some handmade chocolates from Tasmania so feeling very mellow :-D I hope 2014 is good to all my dear friends. I hope Tec and the Duchess have better health and little Esme grows strong and healthy like her big sister Eve. 2013 has been a difficult year for some of us and I hope very much that things will improve. We continue to chat to our old friends and we have welcomed some new friends. My love to you all <3 <3
