Hello everyone :-D

I like that idea Tec has :-D

I can't even imagine how cold that must be Sylvia. 4C or 5C is as low as it gets here and that's usually overnight.

It is the other coast of this country which has taken the battering as well. Plus it is down south and they usually have the good weather and laugh at out cold northern weather

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 4 Jan 2014 20:44

PS ................. I also think that is far too cold!!!

that's why we live on this coast :-D

That is far too cold Sylvia

The cardi sounds nice and as Tec said to me, you need to count up all the money you have saved in the sales, then you can go out and spend that amount on the grounds that is how much you have saved. He makes good sense sometimes :-D

Hi Sue, and everyone

Just after noon here, almost lunch time :-)

Thank you all for your good wishes.

the sun is trying to shine here ........... but it was a lovely sunrise. It was about -1C overnight, and will get to about 5C today

Daughter had over 40cm of snow from Thursday evening to Friday evening, PLUS very cold temperatures for them ...... -10c, which felt more like -27C due to the wind.

That's still a whole lot warmer than in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, where it has been below -20C since before Christmas, and often down to -40C (which feels like -50C when the wind blows)

She got out her snow shoes, snow shoed about 1 km down the hill to the ferry terminal, across on the ferry, then snow shoed on the flat about another kilometre to her office.

About 4 of them made it in ............... she was hoping for a very quiet day to catch up after the Christmas break. Unfortunately, their clients also made it in, so they had a busy day!

The Senior Partner drove them all home at 3 pm.

Today they are digging out ................. on another very cold day.

Monday is forecast to be +10C and raining!

I also went shopping yesterday ......... I really went to the store to pay my off the credit card from last month, but ................ :-)

I found a lovely open weave knit short sleeved open front cardi, in a grey wool with added sequins in the wool ...................... for less than $20 (or about £8).

It had been reduced by over 60% :-D :-D

Thinking of Tec and the Duchess xxx <3 <3

Take care everyone
