I am busy holiday planning. I have just booked 2 weeks at our favourite hotel in Crete for the end of May start of June.
Now I am looking for a holiday rental on the south coast for the end of June

Thank you Linda for the up-date on Tecs situation . I do hope that the Drs can do something !! It is good news to know that his daughter has been able to get more time off work , at least he will know she is looking after the Dutchess .

Just popping in to thank Linda for passing on the news about Tec. I know that all on the Welsh Thread appreciate it.
What a terrible time Tec is having, and he must be very worried about The Duchess too. I hope that a suitable solution can be found for her care, and that the NHS get their act together for Tec's care ASAP!

An update from Tec

The vascular team wouldn't admit him yesterday, but they have a clinic at Telford tomorrow afternoon,so he is going there to see them. He says that

"My left leg and foot are terribly swollen and very painful, despite the morphine. My big toe has turned black, and there is an area of black on the heal of my right foot. This indicates gangrene, so I am not a happy bunny."

His daughter is staying until Friday to look after them, which is good, but he worries because she is supposed to be at work.

I do hope they sort him out quickly, it goes without saying how worried we all are about him.

He said "Please say hello to everyone - I hope everyone is well and happy.

I hope there was lots of vinegar

My interenet is cutting out,so I may disappear again

Such a simple lunch but we really enjoyed it, Mersey :-D

Always worrying Amanda - so glad it wasn't anything nasty. Don't we hate those squashing sessions :-( A necessary evil.

Hopefully Tec is in hospital now and the Duchess is being taken care of.

We've had a lovely day out with the grandchildren. We drove a short way down the coast, had chip butties by the sea and enjoyed watching the children play in the park. It was overcast, cool but very enjoyable.
