Hi Linda...thanks for letting us know, poor Tec and Duchess, as always, im sending them all lots of love and cwtches. <3 <3 <3

News on Tec, I managed to talk to his daughter.

He is in hospital on a medical ward while they look at his leg which she said was really bad.

Today the Duchess went into a nursing home close to where they live. Some of the carers who have been coming to the house also work at the nursing home,so she will know some faces. Her daughter was going back to see her tonight. She is then going home tomorrow, so will go to see Tec tomorrow night.

Last time he was in this hospital, he was able to text me regularly, I have tried to contact him, but have not had a reply yet. He is in a different part of thehospital to where he was before,so he may not have a signal, or he may not be able to reach his phone. His daughter said she will try and sort it out when she visits him, I will keep in contact with her by email.

I can run away and leave my grand-daughter to prepare and cook the meal instead and come back Tuesday evening and enjoy the meal SHE has cooked, after all it was her idea :-D Peeling the potatoes and veg :-( :-( :-( :-( stop panicing me :-(

I am off to bed as well. I can't remember if Sue had the children today, I didn't think so. Maybe she is just having a sleep in because they have worn her out :-D

Hello Diane , yes , I haven't given up hope that the whole BT issue will crumble to nowt :-| I hope you get the DHP again in April .

Amanda unfortunately the 1996 law doesn't apply to me so I'm hoping they will grant me DHP again in April but I am glad it applies to you and many other's, lets hope the BT soon gets overturned.

I've never stayed at one but have friends that speak highly of them .
I have visited the Woburn area once as my Grandfather was born at Aspley Guise and his people lived in Woburn Sands , it was my first ever Ancester Hunt " lol unfortunatly I was ill prepared and on returning home realised I should have been " hunting " a few miles further down the road but it was still a wonderful day out , especially as it turned out to be the last day trip with both my dear parents <3

Thee are still a lot of beautiful old houses/cottages in the area , it is very " chocolate box " countryside .

we have been to two of the others for short breaks at the end of March and enjoyed it both times, but in the summer there is si much more to do outside

I have given up on the sea, taken out an extra mortgage and booked a week in the summer at the new Centre Parcs at Woburn Forest instead :-D That will guarantee that we have another glorious summer where we could have been on the beach of course

Hello everyone , I was looking in to see if there was any news on Tec but can see that there isn't , not sure how to view that , so will opt to think " no news is good news " , in as much as maybe he has been whisked away to hospital and that he is at least being given some meds that may help ? <3

Sue , sorry but I grinned at the thought of Aimee being a wind up , she looks like " butter wouldn't melt " in all her photos :-S Our Daisy can be a complete rotter at times and loves to get William going if she is in the mood .

Hello Diane , it is all go on the " bedroom tax " page at the moment , what with the latest news , I am one of the people that fall into the 1996 issue , already written to the council and am expecting to get everything I've had to pay back in due course :-D :-D However my glee does not take away the bitterness I feel for all the folk that have had to move or even worse , have taken their lives because of this cruel piece of incompetent legislation :-P :-| :-|

Yes Linda I do have enough cutlery and crockery and Pan's, its the size of my cooker that may be a problem, maybe they will all club together next christmas and buy me a hostess trolley to keep the food warm :-)

The NHS in this country is a disgrace, it is mainly down to all the cut backs not the dedicated staff, there are a small minority that I feel shouldn't be in the job but the vast majority do the best they can but it must be hard for them with having to work under so much pressure and rules :-(

I hope Tec is given better treatment after his clinic visit to day and they get their act together and do something to ease his pain and solve his medical problem out, I'm worried sick about him and the poor Duchess :-(
