I must be off. OH wants to go to the garden centre for some blood and bone. He likes to put some in his compost tumbler and also in his veg garden. I think it smells :-|

I just had a short text from Tec which just said he was in hospital and only scans so far

I don't know if I am coming or going :-(

Yesterday I booked a holiday for a week in the summer, then woke up this morning and realised with horror that I had booked it for the same week my son was coming to stay with us. He wants to see the Grand depart for the Tour de France cycle race. He told me to put it on the calander, but I forgot. I had to ring up and put the holiday for eve and co back by a week. They were very good about it and didn't charge me an admin fee

I think that's probably a good idea Jem :-|

Just popped in to say thankyou to Linda for keeping us informed about Tec. Thinking about him and the Duchess. Thankfully a place has been found where she already knows some of the carers. It must be an awfully upsetting situation for them all.

Sue it sounds as if you had a wonderful time with your Grandchildren. :-)

Well actually.......... :-D

We took them to the Botanical Gardens yesterday. For the some reason the boys love the 'desert' area so we spent some time there looking at cactus and strange looking trees. We also fed the ducks - Aimee loves doing that. It was nice, sunny and not too hot.

I had the basal cancer scraped on Wednesdayafternoon ................... it was interesting! Something I'd never had done before!!

I was asked if a Medical student could also be in the room ........... and that was also interesting listening to the doctor teaching him, explaining what he was doing, etc ................ I learnt a bit more than I might otherwise have done!


It poured with rain here yesterday afternoon and most of the night.

it's now dry-ish, but another rain storm is coming in from the Pacific this evening :-(
