Yes all the cupboards are nice and tidy :-D

I'm off now as I need to do a little housework before planning the day.

Goodnight Poms and a good day Aussies <3 <3

LindainHerriotCountry Report 25 Jan 2014 22:15

Well you can't have any cupboards to tidy, so you had better go out

I don't know Linda. We may go to the markets but its dull outside so there may not be many stalls outside. I like going on Sunday because of the fresh summer fruits. There's a stall with cherries and strawberries at a good price and they are delicious.

So what are you going to do today?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 25 Jan 2014 22:03

I thought about it as OH has just ground some beans but then I thought Linda can do it :-D

You could be right Linda - but not as advanced as yours :-P

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 25 Jan 2014 21:24

That is because of your advancing years Sue :-D

Sorry Allan - I meant to add that South Australia is set for another heat wave. I don't envy them - the excessive heat is just as dangerous to health as the freezing cold.

The problem with Australia Day being so close to Christmas and New Year is that I haven't got the energy to do more celebrating :-(

Hello Allan , I don't think your an old so and so , I think that fireworks are a huge waste of money :-|

Sue , did you OH enjoy a nice glass of beer after all his hard work :-) My alpine gardens would be even nicer if the cat didn't decide to wee in it from time to time !!

Hello Linda , it was very good of Tecs family to let you know so soon after he came out of the operating room . It must be strange for them to realise there is a whole community of " us " that where sat in our homes , waiting and wondering .

Hello Mersey :-D <3

Allan

Allan Report 25 Jan 2014 21:14

I'll send the sausages via Qantas, Linda. The bacon will arrive when pigs fly :-D :-D

Ah good Allan you are just in time to provide supper,

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 25 Jan 2014 21:08

I don't want to Linda - didn't have a BBQ planned anyway :-P

OH power washed under the pergola yesterday so that gave us the chance to tidy up the area and get rid of some straggly plants and old pots. It's a nice place to sit for breakfast on a warm morning.

Amanda - your alpine gardens sound lovely.

Allan

Allan Report 25 Jan 2014 21:06

G'day all

Sue, I'll send you some of our weather if you like. Above 35 all week and only dropping to 20 overnight. Yesterday was supposed to bring rain, but all we got was an extremely humid and unpleasant day. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler.

There are many Australia Day Breakfasts around the area but after several years of helping out with the one put on by the Council I worked for, we now do our own at home, but still on the barby.

I'm not sure that I agree with all the fireworks, particularly so soon after New Year. I feel that the money could be better spent elsewhere and on more worthwhile projects......but then again I'm just a miserable so-and-so :-D :-D :-D

You can cook the sausages inside Sue, not on the bbq of course
