Hello everyone. Nice morning here with clear blue sky - and temps promising to be up around 30! That's a bit too much, but the early part of the day is beautiful.
Glad to know some of your rainwater has soaked away. Send some over here!

Diane. My condolences to you Yes, I know your aunt was like a mother to you so I am thinking of you. Sad to part with them, but if she was receiving palliative care, it would have been a peaceful passing.

Good news that Tec is rallying around OK. He does have a wonderful spirit and I'm so pleased that it hasn't deserted him. Thanks again for relaying the messages, Linda. I can't stop thinking about him and I hope his wife is coping with everything, too.

Amanda2003 Report 27 Jan 2014 21:45

That sounds nice Sue , it has remined me about something my son wrote in his religious education book when he was in middle school , when asked to say who Buddha is he wrote " a fat bloke , sitting under a tree " :-D I did giggle when I read it ..........lol

I'm off to soak in the bath for awhile .

Hello Sue and Carole.

I have had a few texts from tec as well as talking to him. He is much better but obviously he will be in hospital for quite a long time.

If his son can sort a dongle out, he should be able to get on here, although he may need to change his phone as well. Hopefully his son in law can sort it out as he is very keen to get back on line. It just depends where they send him, if he goes back to the cottage hospital, he couldn't even get a phone signal there

It will be lovely to have him back amoungst us once he has his dongle :-)

I've just been chatting to Diane on the phone :-)

It has been cold here today but at least the sun did try and break out a little bit .

I've been making little pots and a " fairy " house , I am going to create a miniture garden when the Spring arrives :-)

Hi Sue...Such great news about Tec... :-)

As always :-) <3

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 27 Jan 2014 21:09

Great news to start my day :-D. Does that mean that once Tec gets his computer sorted he may pop on to chat to us? I can't wait :-). I hope the Duchess is settling well into the nursing home - that would also allow Tec to recover from his operation with peace of mind.

A sunny morning here. I sat in the backyard yesterday afternoon while OH potted around as the weather was so nice.

I hope the weather hasn't been too bad for all Up-Toppers.

Oh Diane, I didn't know! :-( :-(

I saw your last post and then searched back!

I'm so sorry about your Aunt! It doesn't matter that you weren't biologically related- it's how you feel about them, and they you, is what matters!

Knowing that you were indeed like a daughter to them, and cared for them, must have been a great blessing to them, and a source of comfort to you!

Thinking of you- Love Jem <3
