Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3

I must be off Allan - I have the house to myself today so I can get some jobs done that are easier with an empty house. Enjoy your day and stay cool :-D

That is probably where you stash your loot until the coast is clear and you can collect it

Allan Report 30 Jan 2014 22:13

It's a good job that they didn't ask about my relationship with the wheelie bins :-0 :-D :-D

My next door neighbour's adult nephew was on his way home very late at night. He went into a vacant block to errr...relieve himself having drunk a few beers. An old lady happened to be getting a glass of water and phoned police saying the young man had exposed himself to her. He was taken to the local police station before being driven home. So be careful Allan ;-)

I've just got a guilty face :-| :-D :-D

Linda, I wasn't wearing my striped jersey this morning. That was probably what alerted them. I was still in my pyjamas! :-D :-D

:-D :-D Allan - sorry but that really made me laugh. I bet someone reported you for loitering with intent :-D

They probably thought you were off to do a break in somewhere. That's what you get for wearing a striped jumper and carrying a sack over your shoulder marked swag

G'day all

Linda, I'm very pleased that all went well for Esme

A strange thing happened this morning. For the first time in Heaven knows how many years of walking in the dark (my usual state whether it is night or day) I was chatted to by a couple of our boys in blue about my activities. I nearly clobbered one when he said that they don't have any problems with the elderly. The cheek of it!

Hello everyone :-D. Hope everyone is well.

Poor little Esme but in the long run it will make life so much easier for her parents and Esme.

Esme's dad has just come back. he said that she seems to be in a bit of pain, but they are giving her some paracetamol and ibuprofen. she had a bit of an allergic reaction to something, but is OK now. They have put a neat mini button in, but the stomach wall is stitched to it, so it is more painful than the other type they do. She still has the gastric tube for a few days to be fed through that while her stomach heals

i feel so sorry for the poor little mite, but it will be better for her in the long run

Hi Linda :-)

I was just reading that Esme's operation has gone well. That's great. Hope she will be home again soon. It sounds like Eve has had a good time with Hanma too! :-) :-)

Hello everyone, I am just checking in quickly.

The journey down was horrible ,driving rain all the way.

We have been entertaining Eve today, lots of crafting, plus playing in the garden in the cold while granddad mended a fence post.

Esme had her operation this afternoon and has come through fine. I didn't think they would do it as she has a cold, but they did.

While she was in theatre my daughter took a call form the friend she has spent the day with on Tuesday to say that her little girl has hand, foot and mouth. She told them when she went back to the ward, so Esme isn't allowed back on the ward in case she has it. That is actually good news as she is being given a side room. My daughter is staying overnight tonight and her father tomorrow night, hope fully she should be out after that.

i will try to look in later on.

Your SIL's send off sounded good Sylvia, she was obviously very well thought of.
