What's this about rain, Sue? I'm still looking out and seeing DRY pavers! Although, I have to admit that Kitty went out earlier and when she came in again, I ran my hand down her back and it was wet. Only droplets on the edge of the fur, but nevertheless, wet. That's how much rain we usually get here. Can't see it and can't see where it has been - and definitely see no benefit from it!. It's a poor show when I have to check the cat to find out if it's raining or not!

Hello all

I haven't read back over all the posts but I gather that Esme is now out of hospital after one or two set backs.

I haven't been on for a while and I was going to post a couple of days ago, but after a comment SueMaid made :-S (notice the use of the full name) on my Wagyl thread, I went off in a huff. Well, actually, I went off in an hour and a huff :-D :-D

You try to bring some culture to the boards and that's what happens! :-| :-D :-D

Hello Linda. Not very high temperatures but the humidity has been dreadful. It's raining today and for the next couple of days. That won't hurt the gardens. It would be good if you had less rain and more sunshine.

Hello everyone :-)

I can well imagine that your daughter is exhausted, Linda. The worry alone would bring her down. Lets hope that after her set back things will now go smoothly.

Hayley - so glad you had a lovely holiday. Bali is definitely the place to relax and enjoy the sun.

Huia - sounds like your body is telling you something. Time to slow down and perhaps find a place closer to town as everyone is saying.

Thank you everyone, I am glad you had a nice holiday Haley.

I was perplexed this afternoon to see a photo of Eve on Facebook with an ice cream lolly all over her face and Esme's blanket on the table behind her, as I wouldn't have expected them to go out. It turned out that after I left my daughter noticed that Esme's wound was oozing puss again, so she took her to the local hospital where they have 24 hour access to the children's ward They gave her antibiotics and she is more settled now. Anyway when they went back to the car it was raining, so my daughter put Eve into the back loose and then fastened Esme's car seat in. In he time it took her to walk around the car, Eve had locked the car. My daughter had to borrow a mobile from a passer by and get Eve's dad to bring the spare keys in a taxi. Luckily they were both OK, so they took Eve into the cafe for an ice cream while her mum tried to dry off after fifteen minutes in the rain without a coat

Hello everyone ,

Linda , I'm so pleased to know that Esme is home , fingers cossed that she settles down soon . I hope your daughter can get some rest , she must be completely exhausted , both mentally and physically . I hope you have managed to get some rest as well <3

Huia , I do hope that you are managing to slow down a little as Berona has said . If you do decided to move closer to civilisation I hope it doesn't cause you to much stress , moveing is never a simple task . Do take care x
