the weather in the UK is beyond belief!



My daughter has much worse weather on the Atlantic Coast, than we do on this side ...........

........... they get the tail end of most of the severe storms that start down in the Caribbean and move up the east Coast of the US.

So she was expecting severe weather this weekend from that huge snow storm.


I know I will never willingly move over to that side of the country .............. even though it would mean being closer to her!

I wouldn't worry about your windows Sue they are probably gleaming compared to mine. I took my nets down and washed them 3days ago and still haven't done my windows so my nets are still waiting to go back up :-(

It's pouring here but still very muggy. I'm not complaining as its nothing compared to the UK weather and what Sylvia is expecting.

we've had a lovely series of days .................... sunny and warm during the day ...... well, up to +7 or +8C :-)

and then rain, often very heavy, overnight



but we are now under an Severe Weather Warning of very strong winds and heavy rain, due to arrive later this afternoon

Linda, I'm sorry to hear that you feel as though your rivs are broken from coughing so much. I'm not quite sure where the rivs are, but then again I never really studied anatomy, unless it was via certain glossy magazines :-D

Esme is a little more settled today, the infection in the wound is a bit better
