There is a tele in my room, so I can watch. There wasn't one in Shrewsbury, so I went six weeks without seeing the tele.

We are ahead at the moment, but another try would make it more comfortable.

Thank you <3 I'm fine, Some people have that something special, she was 100 and had an amazing life. She was interested in Genealogy, we would talk about our Ancestry, she had her family tree in a book and so well done, very inspiring.
Yesterday, her daughter came to see me, which was nice. She gave me a little memento, a piece of tatting her mother had made as a young girl, something to treasure always <3

Oh, just over a week until my young man goes for his driving license - then the worry begins.

I'm so glad you are now back in your home town, close to the Duchess, I'll bet you are too.
Its ok Berona, I shall take the helm and steer the cruiser with pleasure. I have experience lol It can't be any different from driving a car, can it :-D
Linda has been amazing keeping us all informed of all that has been happening.

I haven't been posting much, but have been reading every day. I lost someone very dear to me at work. I'm ok though :-)

Tec - it's wonderful to see you posting on here again. Also good to know you are near the duchess and will soon see her yourself. That should be more satisfying for you.
As for the new leg! You don't get out of our agreement that easily, my friend! You'd better get used to it soon, because you have to learn how to tango with it! .. You thought I'd forgotten, didn't you?... No way! You made me a promise and I've been rubbing Voltaren into my knees and practicing as much as I can, waiting for the day when we are on our cruiser and dancing on formal night! I'm sure we will have a cruiser which allows you to sit down whilst you are at the helm.

Seriously, I am so pleased that you are amongst us again. I knew your spirit would carry you through. My thanks to your daughter and her husband for keeping Linda informed and of course, to Linda herself who has kept us up to date.

Look after yourself, my friend. Don't over-do anything. You'll get there - you are so determined. I'm sure that you will be constantly occupied when you return home - working out what to change to fit in with what you want to do and how you want to do it.

But Sylvia, you are a day behind NZ and Aus.

WELCOME BACK TEC. I have missed having dozens of pages to read through each morning. Not that I could read through them this morning. My ISP had problems. When I got home from working in the shop yesterday, at about 5 p.m., I couldn't get onto the internet and it continued until lunchtime today. :-| so now I have a lot of catching up to do.
