He could have done the potting for you while sitting at your new potting bench - or don't you trust him :-D

I think you should name Tec's parrot as it is your thread

It must be nice to see some sunshine after all the rain. It's been lovely here too. I did some potting while OH sat and watched me. He is a lazy man :-| :-D

Hope you have a lovely day in the sunshine.

Yes I think Pedro is a Spanish donkey Sylvia, but good try.

Mersey - you're being mischievous :-D

Boris?
Rasputin?

I saw an area of woodland in the hills absolutely covered in snowdrops. The forest floor was white as far as the eye could see.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Feb 2014 20:32

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Feb 2014 20:21

We have lots of snowdrops in the garden. Some of the daffodils are in bud as well

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 24 Feb 2014 20:20

Linda .................

I was only noticing on Friday that we had snowdrops out ............. but also that the camellia and forsythia bushes were all covered with buds showing colour, so about ready to burst into full flower. The rhododendron buds were also swelling

It has been around 0C since then, not any lower ........... so they should not have come to much harm

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Feb 2014 20:19

Mersey I have a brother called Roger - so I couldn't possibly - whereas, on the other hand :-D

Linda this parrot definitely isn't Welsh. It looks Eastern European somehow.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Feb 2014 20:15

I shall get a gel cushion Linda. Also at home I have a rather good but very unfashionable sheepskin coat, that I will never wear. So I thought I might cut it up and line the seat of the wheelchair with it.

I don't think Polly will do - I'm sure we can be a little more imaginative than that.

Poliglot? no - okay :-D
