Going home :-)

Well Mersey the thing is that there is no reason why I should still be here. My doctor said I could go middle of next week.
Trouble is things are not ready at home. The OT lads were supposed to have gone to the house with me on Thursday to check out what is needed. They can issue you with gadgets and appliances that make life easier. Trouble is the transport was cancelled at the last minute, so I couldn't go.

The main obstacle is a bed. I was going to buy an electric bed, but then the hospital said I was to have one of theirs, but I've heard nothing since.
I have to go from here back to Shrewsbury hospital on Tuesday, so I decided I then go home on Wednesday. I have an electric recliner armchair that I can easily sleep in till the bed issue is settled.
Then my daughter is cross with me for wanting to go home next week.
I went into hospital a week after Christmas, the Christmas tree was still up, and here I am in March, and I'm still here.
I really don't care about the house not being ready, I will make do till it is.
Seems to me that everyone is running about like headless chickens, but nothing is actually happening..........there Mersey, I've had another rant :-D sorry.

Hello,

Happy St. David's Day

Not a daffodil or a leak in sight here :-0

I am expecting my daughter, son in law and sister in law to visit later.
Had a message from my spy to say they have arrived at my house.

My daughter is very cross with me because I've announced I'm going home :-D

I haven't heard of that either Sylvia, I hope it works out

My computer is playing up tonight, I have had to resort to a different browser to post this, so I am going to call it a day.

Goodnight everyone

Hello Sylvia - your buyer is very keen. I've never heard of that arrangement before. Sounds good and he is the one taking the risk. I hope it all goes well.

Hi Sue, and everyone

it's another lovely sunny day here .............. but the "s" word is in the forecast for some time over the weekend.

we got another offer on the property last night.

This is the guy who went out there last Saturday, by himself, to snow shoe all over it.

He really, really wants it ................. but he doesn't have enough money to get a conventional mortgage.

So he is asking if we would take $16,000 down payment, and then "hold the mortgage for him"

This is something that is done over here quite a lot, especially on recreational property.

It's all set up legally, with 2 lots of lawyers involved, payment plus interest per month clearly defined, etc etc

If he defaults, the property just reverts back to us, he loses his money, and we put it on the market again..

Our realtor is suggesting a maximum of a 2 year mortgage with us.

Of course, we have to look at it very closely .............. we have an appointment with our financial advisor next Tuesday to discuss the pros and cons with him

We've never sold any property before, so this is all very interesting!

Hope you have a great day tomorrow, Tec xxx

Amanda ......... is it really 2 years since she was born? Wow!

Mind you, it doesn't seem like 4 years since our littlie was born :-)

take care everyone

That's true :-D

My SIL was supposed to go kayaking and camping this weekend but has had to call it off. My daughter said he is not a happy chappy :-(. He and his friends don't often get the chance to meet up so it will be disappointing for them.

It's absolutely pelting down here. I've just nipped out to put some pots in the rain for a good dousing. OH was stood at the back door shaking his head :-D he thinks I'm mad for going out in the rain :-D
