That cake is completely OTT

I am watching Mary Berry's new cooking programme, she is making afternoon tea

The Asda service has become very popular here since it started. I guessed it would as we don't have a decent supermarket.

Living alone I won't need much, so will have to keep a list until I have enough to order.
The village shop will have the odds and ends in between, so it will work out alright.

My daughter uses Asda delivery even though she lives near the supermarket. I think she said that it is the easiest one to use because it can remember your favourites so it is easy to reorder

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:38

Yes, great. Time for revenge, charging round the supermarket like something possessed, bashing into them :-D

I'll probably get banned :-D

Seriously - Asda have started a delivery service out here, so I am going to get organised with them now when I go home.
That will save me having to think about shopping, and save my daughter having to come over every two weeks, especially in the winter.

Probably careless driving in a wheelchair. I can just imagine you knocking over all the old biddies in the supermarket

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:30

Well I've never been up in Court, but I suppose it's never too late :-D.

Causing an affray in a wheelchair,

one legged man goes beserk in kebab house in Fairthingy :-D

Ooh how many times have you been up in court and for what, do tell :-D :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:21

It's ok for me to look like that, because I live in a very rural area beyond the fringe. It's expected. If I dress tidy they think I'm off to a funeral, wedding, or up in Court.

I haven't seen anyone else on the allotments looking like that. It is more jumpers with holes in the elbows and trousers held up by string - you know - your look :-D :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:13

Well yes - why not?

in your pretty wellies with the flowers on, and your marigolds.

:-D :-D :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Mar 2014 20:10

It is his allotment, I only pick the fruit.

Do you seriously see me as digging manure in???

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:08

You are a very caring and considerate wife, but then you do get to help on the allotment from time to time :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Mar 2014 20:06

I prefer to take OH out to lunch, I am such a caring wife. I even drive so he can have a pint

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 20:05

Better still you could become one of those "Ladies who Lunch" swanning about posh restaurants taking lunch into the afternoon :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Mar 2014 20:01

Hmm, in that case, I won't bother

I have just been arranging coffee with a friend for tomorrow. That is two days in a row, I could get used to this :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 19:51

You would have to share a ward with a lot of very old ladies. It wouldn't be fun believe me.
I haven't been anywhere near the day room since I came here - not that brave :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Mar 2014 19:49

It sounds so good that I am thinking of moving into one of the spare beds :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Mar 2014 19:41

That is nice of them Linda, and I do appreciate it.

I realise that although I'm desperate to go home, I am at the same time lucky to be here. I could be still in Shrewsbury. They have 900 beds there. There are only 12 here, 2 empty at the moment.
