Sounds like you got some lovely books Sue, and your son did well too.

I like ferns, I have a few turn up in my garden from nowhere - they are in the damp spots. The really nice tender ones have to be kept indoors here.

Growing from seed is very interesting

You will have a better idea when you get home although you will need the initial contact before you escape....er.....go home :-D

My son came with me - he bought some biology books for next to nothing plus some novels. He was very happy :-)

It's a three day fair and more books are added all the time. On Sunday afternoon they are all half price but there generally aren't many decent ones left by then. I bought a book on growing plants from seed for OH - he is getting very interested in that part of gardening. I also bought an old book on ferns with some lovely drawn illustrations of different ferns.

Bye Linda, have fun at the cinema :-)

Sounds like your OH may need to see the doctor if that cough persists.

Speak later maybe.

I have a lady coming at 11 to see what help I need at home. She is from Social Services.

I would have filled the boot of the car. I have lots of gardening books at home.

I've had a good day - thank you Tec :-)

Galahs are grey and pink. We have much more exotic looking birds for you to choose from.

Today I went to a second hand book fair. I came home with a bagful of books including some gardening books.

Good Evening Sue,

Hope you had a good day :-).

I always fancied a galah, especially as I was affectionately known to my Aussie pals as "Our mate the Pommie Galah " :-D

I'll bring you a bright colourful parrot from Australia, Tec :-D

Hello Linda - anything planned for today?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 14 Mar 2014 09:56

I don't normally get stroppy, but sometimes you just get so fed up with being messed about by incompetent people.

Really I was hoping to go home with everything done, now I still have to return to Shrewsbury.

I know I have to go to Wrexham to the artificial limb centre throughout the summer, but that's a different matter.

Then of course I need to find a parrot on e-bay, and an eye patch, with bandana to match :-D

Good Morning lovely Linda :-),

Very foggy here again today. Coast completely blotted out, and rather cool too.

My last complete day in custody today.

Tomorrow will be my 72nd day .

Can't remember if I told you, but when I e-mailed my letter of complaint to the local paper, the news reporter came back to me and asked if she could use it as a feature story in next weeks edition, rather than in the letters page.

I expect I'll be black listed now :-D

That's what I think. I'm also glad that she is moving out of the area because she has a neighbour who we don't trust.

It is a good time to downsize while she still can

She is moving to another town although still close to everyone. The house and garden are large and she is finding it all too much now.
