Oh yes, the eye patch :-D

Sue, I think it is my determination not to be beaten that has brought me through this far, and I was determined to get into the garden somehow.
Every day I've looked at those steps, and it suddenly occurred to me how it could be done. :-)
I do tend to get very tired very quickly at the moment, but everything considered I suppose that is to be expected.
By the time I actually reached the garden I was tired, so didn't do much, but what I did do was worth it.
The nurse called with another injection into my tummy, I think there are only four more now

I should be tutting at you as well Tec as it doesn't sound very safe. I hope the ramps won't be too long

It was cloudy this morning, but cleared up this afternoon, so we managed to do some gardening

And the eye patch Tec - don't forget that :-D

I hope you took it very slowly Tec - I really should be tut tutting at you but I admire your perseverance.

Good Morning Sue,

You do seem to be having a lot of thunderstorms, and rain. Is this usual at this time of year?

Hello Everyone,

So good to see Diane and Persie posting - Persie you can't leave us :-D.

It was a beautiful day today, and guess what? I made it into my garden. Briefly, a series of heaving a garden chair, then the walker down the steps, and hopping from one level to the next, I made it to level ground, and into the garden. :-D
It was hard work, but worth it.
I spent about an hour in the sunshine, tidying up some dead stuff as much as I could reach sitting in the walker.
I took the phone with me, just in case I landed head first in the shrubbery :-D
Anyway, it was another successful venture.
When I a ramp it will be easier of course.

Diane, Yes it was disappointing that yesterday's procedure didn't work, but that is the end of it now thank goodness. I have one more appointment in two weeks with the surgeon, but that's just a follow up after the op. I did see him briefly yesterday when he came to see me before I left.
Now all there is to get done is the wooden leg and the parrot :-D

Hello everyone :-D. Hope our mums had a nice Mothers' Day.

Wish you would stay Persie :-(

We had another thunderstorm last night with lots of rain and noise. Over very quickly but I'm fed up with the sound of the rain :-(

Hello Persie and Diane.

Don't go Persie :-(

Yes magazines just like the hairdressers Sylvia, utter drivel, but I had to read them to confirm what trash they were :-D

The young parents didn't come back until 12.15, with me lying through my forced smile saying that was fine. They don't normally stay out late, so that is fine, but it was a bit naughty of them to not tell me it was going to be very late until I arrived.

Only me, dropping by, I have tried catching up a few times get about 10 - 15 pages read and then get further away again in between reads as the pages seem to zoom along since Tec has been back on board...

I may have to give up before I catch up. I think my year back is nearly up as well.

Hello Sylvia :-)

Yes the ambulance drivers were more or less on time - actually I went in a car both ways, which is so much better :-)

Goodnight again,
Tec :-)

Tecwyn Report 29 Mar 2014 22:35

Yes, I have done very well in a relatively short time, and am grateful for that. The staff at the hospital all said how well I looked, but they had looked after me during the roughest time, so would notice the difference.

Well I think I will drift off to bed now. I hope the baby stays asleep till his mum comes home.

sleep well when you do get there. Don't put cold feet on your OH though :-D

Goodnight,
Tec :-)
