Oh dear Sue, am I allowed to give him a hug, or will that count as fussing?

I am going out, honestly I am

Hello all :-D

Linda - OH is in some pain but he has strong painkillers that are helping. He is bored of course but certainly doesn't feel much like doing anything.

Sylvia - thanks for asking after OH. He doesn't like be 'looked after' either :-)

Hello Berona and Sylvia

Sue I hope your OH is comfortable

I am sure Tec is having a lovely time with his visitors Berona. His car doesn't need to be adapted, as he already has an automatic. I think the problem is getting the go ahead to drive because of the amount of morphine he was on. That is being reduced in dosage every week, so hopefully he will soon be off it all, so he will be told it is OK

It took me ages to get my internet working this morning, my fault for daring to think that it has been fine for the past few days :-(

We are off to the market now

Hi Sue, and everyone

Hope your OH is recovering well.

Mine would be saying "oh, stop your bothering, woman! Leaver me alone!" "I'll ask if I want anything!"

on and on it goes :-)

he hates being "pestered" as he calls it, when recovering from an operation, OR even a cold!

Hello to all. I've just been reading all the posts. Tec - I hope you are not overdoing things. Maybe your weekend visitors will help with the scooter - but you had better behave properly when you use it. I was wondering if you still have your car? I have known people to have their cars adapted to suit their needs but it may take time (and you might need to wait until you have the new leg, before getting around to anything like that). I think you are wonderful in what you have already achieved - so I don't want to sound like I'm pushing you to do more!

Sue - we have actually had rain! One real good heavy shower last Sunday and the odd fine mist spray a couple of times since. Still not as much as you have had - but for once - I didn't have to water the pots! Even though I water them, I have lost a few things with the heat. I don't get out there much and I make myself get out there - but sit down! Watering requires me to walk around, and I'm not very good at that. Think I might try watering from my walker. I am learning to sit on that and move around by steering it with my btm. Getting quite good at that, really!

Oh, we'll have to pass the hat around to replace the poor goat :-D

What are your plans for the day?

I'm planing on catching up on some housework over the weekend and some serious relaxing as well :-)

SueMaid Report 4 Apr 2014 09:57

We wouldn't eat our goat :-0 :-0. There is only so much you can say about a goat :-D

OH is fine - sore and tired but he's got some strong painkillers for the next few days. He sends his manly thanks (no hugs :-D) to your OH, Linda.

Carole - lovely to see you as always. Enjoy your weekend off.

I don't think Sue has crocs where she lives, sharks maybe, although I think the goat is safe. They wouldn't eat their pet goat, would they?

I meant the croc, but come to think of it, she hasn't mentioned the goat recently. Maybe they had a nice goat curry?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Apr 2014 21:53

Do you mean that it stops the crocs eating the goat?

or Sue and OH eating it? :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Apr 2014 21:51

I think he has to, it stops them from eating the goat

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 3 Apr 2014 21:47

I didn't know that he wrestled crocodiles, Sue never told me that, but he does go walkabout in the bush occasionally :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Apr 2014 21:43

Ah yes, Aussie men are tough, it must be all the crocodiles they wrestle
