Hello Diane - Yes they do grow up quickly once out in the big wide world. My grand daughter's boyfriend is coming up from Kent to stay with them for a few days next week, then she is going back with him to his family for a few days. They are off to Greece on holiday in July :-)

He is really good. He's off the strong painkillers and he's only using a walking stick now. He made coffee this morning although he couldn't carry two cups :-D

Tec it is amazing how quickly they grow up, my grand-daughter's seem to change over night when they started senior school and the eldest on who live's with me is now quite a younge lady.

Linda when do you start looking after Esme while your daughter goes to work, or have you already started.

Sue I am glad your OH's op went well and hope he is not in to much discomfort.

Sounds like you have had a lovely time with your family. It's amazing how quickly young people mature when they leave home. Your granddaughter's mum and dad have done a good job.

I was watching Drew sitting and reading the other day. He was engrossed in his book. I could see how he will look as a young man although he is only 9. He seems to be growing fast since the new school year started.
