Hello ladies although you won't be on the thread now.

Huia - you haven't got a touch of sunstroke I hope. You shouldn't still be feeling woozy. Perhaps a trip to the doctor if you still don't feel well tomorrow.

Sunshine for a couple of hours this morning and then the clouds came followed by rain :-(

Sorry I left quickly this morning. I had a phone call that needed to be dealt with. All sorted but it took a couple of phone calls.

Huia Report 7 Apr 2014 06:53

I survived the afternoon in the shop. My head felt woozy most of the time, despite taking a couple of panadol at midday. I also seemed to be thirsty as I got through 3 x 400 ml bottles of water in the afternoon instead of the usual one, so I am picking dehydration as my problem. When my partner-behind-the-counter came I told her she could do all the work on the till as I might make too many mistakes with the woozy head. She did make one major one herself. Next Monday I will have to do all the till work. Fingers crossed I am ok by then and don't make any mistakes.

Good afternoon from where I am. I hope you are all well and if not awake, then I hope you are having a good sleep!.. Cloudy and a little cooler than expected, but still nice here. A light (useless) shower overnight and again earlier, but it all stopped and I will still have to water the pots.

Diane's comment about the sun and moon made me wonder at first if that was something "different" between the northern and southern hemisphere? I know what she means and it reminded me of when I was working in London and my only Christmas Day was dull and dry much like to-day is here, except that it was cold outside, of course, but I remember that the sky was all cloud, but the sun was shining through what looked like a little hole in the clouds, The weird part was that I could look up straight into the sun and it had no effect on my eyes. I would not be able to do that here - not even in mid-winter.

As I didn't know what ESA is, i googled it. |The first result which came up was The European Space Agency

Given your interest in the sun and moon tonight, that sounds like just the career for you Diane. You can tell us all about it tomorrow :-D :-D :-D

Goodnight again <3

Diane, grand daughter has visited his family before, though his parents live separately as they are divorced. She says his mother is very nice.

Sue make the most of the sunshine :-)
