Hello you two :-)

Linda you are really ticked off with your OH today.

Tec how was your day ?

Mine was quite busy, my friend took me to solicitors to drop the key off for my aunt's house, then we went to Huyton town centre so I could put some money from one bank account into another, we then picked his wife up and on the way to my flat we picked up my aunt's ashes.
I was glad to get back home as I was in a lot of pain with my back and my hip :-(

Watching a programme about a Christopher Lloyd designed garden in Sussex.
They were growing magnificent flag irises in pots. I might try that, as they don't do well in my soil

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:39

No I don't - only young men can get away with that :-D.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Apr 2014 21:38

Do you wear your baseball cap backwards with the peak at the back :-D :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:34

Yes of course I had to wear a uniform cap every day, but that suited me, whereas any form of hat doesn't.

Just remembered I do have a baseball cap

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Apr 2014 21:31

OH is decidedly thin on top, so he needs his cap. didn't you have to wear a uniform cap?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:29

I've never owned a flat cap either - and neither will I, but all the farmers here wear them.

I look ridiculous in any sort of hat :-D

OH keeps wittering on about wanting a beret. I just smile at him and shake my head sadly. he is bad enough in his flat caps

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:21

I have never owned a beret, or a stripey top :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Apr 2014 21:17

I have tried frogs legs, not much meet on them :-(

I bet you have a beret and a stripy top

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:14

I also believe that the French eat snails, and frogs legs - how disgusting :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 8 Apr 2014 21:10

Yes he was,so you do know something.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:08

If it's any consolation, I know nothing about anything French - wasn't Napoleon French? :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2014 21:06

That would be very nice Linda, thank you :-)

Sometimes the most brilliant academic minds have difficulty coping with such basic mundane events.

I of course, speak from experience :-D
