Greetings from Berlin.

We had to get up at 5.30 am to get the flight. I had forgotten how dreadful the security queues at Manchester airport were. We ended up getting fast tracked through because the flight was closing.

We managed the train from the airport fine and the hotel let us check in early, so OH is having a sleep. The hotel has free fast WiFi. What a change from the Crowne Plaza last night, they wanted £5 for an hour's WiFi, what a rip off, I didn't bother

Good morning from me. I see I made it before everyone went to bed, this time.

Sue - what does OG stand for? I hope it doesn't mean the words which sprang to mind when I read it - or maybe it was just a typo. We had some sprinkles last night, but nothing since. Yesterday, some light rain early changing to a sunny day by lunch time. To-day is forecast for high twenties again. Very unpredictable, April.

Glad that your OH feels better today - it is hard to slow down when you've always been so active.

We had a very wet Spring here. I expect that you may have seen coverage of the flooding, especially in the South. So must be world wide.
We are forecast a very hot summer :-)

I also agree with the Principal's stand on other peoples children appearing on Facebook. A wise decision.

OH is fine today but he said he realises he has to take things a little slower.

We have no plans for today. The weather is still unpredictable. The weather people said that this is the wettest start to Autumn in many years. I think we all figured that out. It is so widespread over the eastern part of Australia..

The twins looked so cute in their Easter bonnets. I shall send you a photo later. The principal of the school announced for the first time that any photos put on FaceBook must not include other children without permission. I agree with this.

and yes, we do know that you are the very epitome of good taste - because you told us :-D

What a pity the twins Easter Parade was held in such bad weather.

I'm sure the twins would have forgiven Grandad had he not attended, in view of his bad knee. Hope he has recovered today :-)

It is actually chilly here this morning. Yesterday it rained nonstop from lunch time until well into the evening. The twins had their Easter parade and it was miserable. OG insisted that he go to see them too but he was sorry afterwards. By the time he arrived home he was exhausted :-(

I'm becoming a little concerned about all this frolicking! Is someone adding something to the coffee? or do we have a disturbing influence amongst us?
