Time for bed I think, no nibbling your chocolate over night

I am sure it will be a wondrous system which will work well

The ramps will probably appear just in-time for the winter

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 22:26

Yes I have - I bought one on E-Bay, well my brother did it for me actually.

Someone turned up to see about the ramp today, and lowering the sink for me.

Also they worked out a way that I can get up the two steps that prevent me from getting to the bedrooms.
I didn't understand what he was talking about in the end, but doubtless all will be revealed in time - just hope I live long enough :-D

Have you got your garden wheelchair sorted out?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 22:19

They were apparently told to stay where they were - there was no order to abandon ship - many were trapped in crowded corridors - doesn't bear thinking about :-0

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Apr 2014 22:17

I have just been watching it on the news, I don't understand why more of them didn't try to get out

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 22:15

I'd look like Zeberdee sp on a pogo stick :-

I can't believe how quickly that South Korean ship sank :-0 must have a huge hole in the hull, or was violently turned suddenly - that can roll a ship over - very sad.

It would be a one legged race with a difference :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 22:10

Now that would be worth seeing :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Apr 2014 22:07

Have you run away?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 21:34

I'd rather be famous for different reasons I think :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Apr 2014 21:31

You will be world famous, or at least a bit of you will?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 21:21

No my daughter didn't mind - it was good to spend time together doing something nice for a change.

I was pleased to be discharged. The surgeon has promised to let me know when the report on my case is in the BMJ - that should be interesting :-D

Mersey Report 17 Apr 2014 21:19

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Apr 2014 21:17

I am sure your daughter wouldn't mind

Good news that you have been discharged

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 21:16

Mersey - I can make a bar of chocolate last three months, so I won't cheat on the egg - whereas Linda :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Apr 2014 21:14

Yes I did thank you.
Wasn't too long in the hospital. The surgeon was happy with everything, and discharged me. Though I do have to see another consultant about another issue, at a later date.

Then we went to the garden centre. My poor daughter trailed around at the back of me pushing a large trolley type thing while I went round and round selecting what I wanted. Then changing my mind, putting things back, and choosing something else.
We were there for two hours.
Daughter's car was stuffed full of shrubs and plants :-D

It was a good day out, and we were both shattered last night :-D

Daughter went home at lunchtime today

Mersey Report 17 Apr 2014 21:10
