Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 23:14

I must also go to bed now,

Enjoy your day Sue,

Sleep well Linda,
Goodnight,

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 23:12

:-D :-D :-D

I know - but I do still wear my tie in bed :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Apr 2014 23:12

That is a silly but good idea Sue :-D

Well, I am off to bed now, so goodnight everyone

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 18 Apr 2014 23:09

Oh dear Tec :-( Perhaps you can glue some cups to their saucers. Then they won't wobble :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Apr 2014 23:08

Oh dear Tec, things are indeed going downhill :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 23:04

I s hould like you all to know, that at this very late stage in my life I have resorted to using mugs, instead of cup and saucer. :-0

Standards are falling alas :-(

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 18 Apr 2014 22:59

It's ok - OH has just delivered a cup :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Apr 2014 22:58

Well you should get up earlier Sue, you have missed it

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 22:57

I could make coffee Sue, but I may be some time - then spill it on the way back :-D

Smile nicely at Linda, she makes nice coffee :-) as you know

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 18 Apr 2014 22:54

I was waiting for someone to make coffee :-|

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 22:47

Thanks for that Linda. I will have a look later - no idea what they look like, never having had a BBQ :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Apr 2014 22:45

Argos have some covers Tec, but B&Q have some better looking ones which can be delivered as well

They are much cheaper on Ebay, I just put BBQ cover in the search

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 18 Apr 2014 22:44

I think Tec will be terrorising the village before long, Linda :-D

Yesterday was sunny and warm. The local garden centre has its annual 25% off everything Easter weekend so we went for a look. I didn't buy any plants but I bought some nice pots. We saw some people we know and stood in the sun chatting. It was lovely.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 22:43

Yes it's hard work putting it together because some parts are very heavy, and I'm not very strong yet, but I'll keep eating my spinach :-D.
So I will only use it on occasion, mostly using the wheelchair I expect.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Apr 2014 22:38

I can just imagine you with smoke coming from the rear wheels :-D

When you get your real ramp, hopefully it will go in, so it can stay in one piece, if you have it in the car, you would have to put it together all time

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Apr 2014 22:36

It wasn't the space Linda, I couldn't get it to go up the rubber ramps I bought - I got rear wheel spin :-D.

Sue, a BBQ cover is a brilliant idea :-) because I think the scooter will have to live outside, but will go back in the car once I'm allowed to drive again

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 18 Apr 2014 22:31

I've now read back :-)

Persie and Carole - good to see you both <3

I can just imagine you doing a lap of honour on the scooter Tec - good for you :-) A BBQ cover is a good heavyweight cover for the scooter.

I hate doing the inside of the car too Linda :-(

Hopefully if you get the porch emptied, it will go in.

No knocking old ladies off the pavement when you zoom about
