I will take it easier Sue. Maybe I'm not as strong as I like to think I am yet.
So anxious to get things sorted out in the garden, but everything is such an effort now.
I need to accept that the garden must take second place to my health.

Diane I hope that your grand daughter settles into her new job well, and enjoys it :-)

Hello Diane.

Sorry you have the dreaded bug again Linda - I hope you won't be too ill to do your grandmother duties. Hopefully you will both get used to the routine before long.

Tec - you must remember that you've had major surgery and how ill you were before that. I'm sure it will take awhile to get over it so please take it easy.

I am too Linda, my poor uncle has been waiting for nearly 13yrs, my Aunt wanted them to be laid to rest in the Catholic memorial garden but as my uncle was Cof E it had to be done after she passed away,
I just need to get thing's sorted about my Dad's ashes now.

Hello Diane, I am glad that you have laid your aunt to rest at last

Hello everyone :-)

I understand what you mean about the child minder, with other children she wouldn't have sufficient time to devote to Esme, or would be distracted.

All you can do is take what rest you can, whenever you can.

Hopefully the weather will be good, so that you can take her out in the pushchair

Hello you two :-)

Tec I'm wagging my finger at you :-|
Try not to do to much or as Linda say's you will end up needing respite.

Linda the bug's must be nasty one's down south as you never fail to come back with a bug :-( I hope Esme soon get's used to you looking after her but I suppose it is only to be expected as she is used to having her mum around and it would still be the same even without her medical problem's.

Well my Aunt and Uncle are finally laid to rest together in the memorial garden as she wished.

Hello everyone :-)

I will be fine and at least Esme will be getting one to one attention. I would hate for her to have gone to the child minder who had other children as well. I don't think the child minder would have understood what it entailed as well

Tecwyn Report 27 Apr 2014 22:06

It must be very difficult and tiring for you, especially as you are obviously not that well.
Hopefully it will get easier this week, as Esme gets more used to you, and doesn't fret for her mum so much

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 27 Apr 2014 22:03

Don't wear yourself out, or you will have to go for respite care and you wouldn't like that

I am tired as well, I am not really looking forward to this week as OH was there to help last week. I am sure it will get easier as I get used to it and Esme gets used to me. At the moment she just wants her mum

Sorry to hear that you have the "London" bug again - you must become immune to it soon surely.

I think I need to rest more, as I seem to be fidgeting about all day. Trying to hop backwards and forwards across the back yard is hard work. I shall be glad when I get a ramp fixed.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 27 Apr 2014 21:53

I didn't stay last night because I could't speak, my voice had gone :-(

I have a cold as normal when I have been to London, but at least I can talk today.

I hope that you feel better tomorrow, being tired is no good

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 27 Apr 2014 21:50

Arrested might be fun :-D

I was very tired last night, still am. Must be getting old :-D

My brother is coming tomorrow to knock a bit of wall down on the back yard that is my way :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 27 Apr 2014 21:45

You can get arrested for that

Are you OK? You weren't around yesterday

Tecwyn
