He is in a very jealous mood at the moment. He is coveting my sun and your pots

I think he wants to fill his garden with all your pots so he can sit in hiz wheelchair and spay them with a hosepipe. He needs my sun to nake them grow

I don't think Tec is talking to you, Linda :-D

Sorry Tec,I shall refrain from telling you that I am on a sunbed on a shady terrace overlooking the sea. I must cut back on thefood or I will look even more like a beached whale. The food here is excellent so it is very tempting.

Of course you are in my good books Persie, you have coms back to chat with us and that is lovely.

It's the same old story every time Sylvia and it's very annoying. However I wouldn't have RR'd the thread. I like watching him get flustered :-D

We put the heating on for the first time last night. It was very chilly. First day of winter on Sunday- it's been a glorious Autumn :-)

Sue .....

do you mean the one by GHeather?

I'm afraid I've given up on him ......... he's full of it

Have you noticed, he never actually replies to anyone who posts on his thread

nor does he really state his own views ............... what he posts are views from books etc

I got into quite an argument with him the other week, trying to find out what his views really were ............... he wouldn't, or couldn't, answer, and finally threw all his dummies out of the pram, and pulled all his threads!

Goodnight Tec <3

I'm getting a little annoyed with a thread on immigration. I don't like uninformed opinions :-(

Goodnight,

Hi Persie :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 29 May 2014 23:22

Creaking wardrobes and everything creaking is an inevitable part of life aboard a ship in a heavy sea :-(

Persie I am so old and antiquated that I remember when all messages to and from a ship were by radio - now it's all satellite communication., but I'm sure it was much more fun :-D

OH and crew got through all 6 days of Graduation ceremonies with only one damp morning, despite the frequent warnings of rain ...............................

today it is grey and has been raining hard

he left a couple of hours ago for a 2 day business trip :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 29 May 2014 23:14

Hello Tec - creaking fitted wardrobes are a dreadful thing when you are hoping to have a restful cruise.

There are Hyacinth Buckets everywhere.. and our one is away enjoying herself and letting us know about it.

Re the good book of Linda's, I don't think I am there even in the appendices..

Morning Tec, sorry evening Tec.. nothing like a bit of rough sea... we went to the Maritime museum in Wellington and they had a large area devoted to our Wahine disaster, film clips on board and on the rough seas trying to get ashore including the bodies lying on the beach. It is a bit like a JFK moment here, nearly all us oldies know where we were on that day.. I certainly did I was on the toll counter at the chief post office and busy as with people trying to make toll calls. Plus a press reporter phoning his news to Australia and London. We had gone past the tin-can system of communication but nothing as instant as today..... I think it is called progress.

Tecwyn Report 29 May 2014 22:59

Good Morning Sue,

Better indulge Linda, or she'll have you arrested as illegal immigrants on arrival. A tent on the grass will seem like paradise compared to the internment camp :-D.

Linda, can you please refrain from going on and on about how hot it is when you know jolly well we're all cold and wet here :-D I'm not jealous - I'm not :-D

I remember an elderly lady on a ship who complained bitterly every time we went into a heavy sea that the fitted wardrobes creaked :-D

SueMaid Report 29 May 2014 22:58

Hello Sylvia :-)

We stayed in a B&B in Bury St. Edmonds a few years ago. Hardest bed I've ever slept in but the best breakfast in the morning :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 29 May 2014 22:49

Hi Sue, and everyone

It's been raining here, but the sun is supposed to arrive .................... tomorrow!

Linda .......... many years ago, we went to Regina on business, and were booked into the Hotel Saskatchewan ............ one of the grand old railway hotels, and expensive!

I had a rotten night the first night .................. the bed was sooooooooooo hard.

As I went past the Reception Desk the next morning, one of the receptionists asked how I was and how had I slept.

I mentioned the hard bed

She gulped .................... and said "Oh, the person who stayed in that room before you had requested a hard bed, so we put a sheet of plywood beneath the mattress. We must have forgotten to remove it"

Sure enough, I had a much more comfortable bed!

BUT ............... if she had asked me that question, I probably would not have thought to complain! :-)

Sue ........ why do you need to stay in Linda's good books???

take care everyone

xx
