Drew is a clever boy - I'm sure he'll do well in his school work.

You are getting on with your potting Tec - the garden will look good for summer.

Well done Drew :-)

it must be very encouraging for him to receive that award, and spur him on to work hard in the future, good for him to be rewarded for making extra effort.

Hello Tec :-)

It was miserable here yesterday but lovely sunshine this morning.

Drew won an award at school yesterday for consistent excellent work. He was very pleased with himself and rang to tell us :-)

Good Morning Sue,

Been an overcast day here, but quite warm. I potted up some geraniums into their summer pots with some lobelia.

Linda I don't check the hose connections every time I use it - life is too short :-D

Well it came over all cloudy with spots of rain so we decided to walk into Agios NIkolaos for a spot of lunch. We walk there which takes thirty minutes but get a taxi back as we are usually carrying essentials such as bottles of wine for the room.

We had lunch on the lakeside which was very nice. It is supposed to be a bottomless fresh water lake, but it is funnel shaped and 64 metres deep. To make use of it as a harbour they cut an opening into it from the sea so it must be salty by now

I had to laugh aswell Tec OHsaid it is your fault for not checking it was secure before you began

I am glad to see that you are keeping out of trouble Huia. It is annoying when jigsaws have missing pieces. Our best charity shop has a volunteer who does them all as they are donated tomake sure all the bits are there

I know what you mean about the beaches Persie but it seems different when you are on a foreign holiday

We are back on the beach now on the front row of sunbeds with the water just a few feet away. It is just a tiny private cove with ten umbrellas so is very peaceful. Plus the hotel has a no children policy whjch is very relaxing as well

Hey, Persie, who are you calling a hazard?

I have been behaving myself, doing jigsaws all weekend trying to use only my left hand. Unfortunately the person who last did two of them (I got them from an op shop) did not put the pieces into a plastic bag, or seal the boxes with selotape, and there are 5 pieces missing from one and 2 from the other. I was going to take them to our shop this week.

Goodnight Tec- Sleep well :-)

Persie- I sometimes get a pinch in the bit of skin between my thumb and finger when using my Dyson. Where the hose meets the tube of the floor attachments traps my skin :-| :-|

I have done a live commentary on various Rugby Threads every time there is a big competition like the 6 nations, The Australian Tour etc.

Persephone Report 1 Jun 2014 23:45

I did not know Jem has a rugby thread..

Not just the garden implements Sue, one friend of mine got hit a while back on the chin with her Dyson vacuum cleaner not satisfied with that she had another wrestle with it a few days ago and broke her little finger. She hates the Dyson and I think seriously mind that the Dyson knows this and is reacting in kind.

Speaking of hazards have not seen Huia..

Hosepipes are anti-social too :-D

I'm off to bed now,

Enjoy your day Sue, and Persie,

Hope you don't suffer from the wind tomorrow Linda - Enjoy the sunshine,

Goodnight,
Tec

I'm ok thanks very much :-)

I'm really behind with everyone's news. Hope you all and your families are doing ok :-)
How is little Esme doing now?

Thanks Tec for reading the Rugby Thread :-) :-) It was a bit quiet on the recent one, especially without John, and Shaun seems to be absent now. I hope he's ok!

Tecwyn Report 1 Jun 2014 23:33

That's a classic Persie - very dangerous things are rakes put down that way :-(

It would have been much less painful being hit on the back.

Now you need to think up a booby trap for OH :-D

You have my sympathy on that one :-)
