Belgium have been the surprise team this time, and Holland are good too.

I don't know why England even bothered turning up :-D

I should have volunteered :-D

You have to be a football fanatic in Brazil - it's the law :-D

My son would like to see Belgium win, OH likes Holland.

Tecwyn Report 27 Jun 2014 22:18

I would like to see Germany win now, although, if the host country Brazil were to win, it would mean so much more to them - the whole country is football crazy from birth :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 27 Jun 2014 22:12

No England, no Australia :-( I don't know who to cheer for now.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 27 Jun 2014 22:11

I have withdrawal symptoms :-0

There's no football on tv tonight :-D

So I may even get to bed a bit earlier :-)

Tecwyn Report 27 Jun 2014 22:03

Apparently, access is through the back of the wardrobe - a bit like Narnia :-D

Well she certainly won't say no to Brown Brothers and neither would I..

I have been laughing..

To do list:

1) buy four pigs
2) paint numbers 1, 2, 3 & 5 on their backs
4) release them in Wal-mart
5) sit back and watch security search for number 4

I am sure the male guest would enjoy your tomato relish, with cheese or cold meat .. put the bread out and he can make his own sarnie...

Of course the other visitor may want a gourmet brunch.

I will look forward to that Persie, it has to beat talking about princesses. Esme of course does not talk yet, but she did spend all day yesterday projectile vomiting,so she made her mark

Agh today is d day when my guests arrive. i need to have a quick flick round with the duster to remove the weeks worth of dust since I last did it. Then I need to go to the supermarket, but I can't do that until OH comes back. I need to stay in to sign for a parcel which is arriving today.

The guests are arriving for lunch, that would be no problem if my Meals on Wheels partner hadn't just rung to remind me that we are on today. I hope the guests aren't hungry because it will have to be a late lunch
:-(

I am sure August's gingerbread figurines are edible... I will get him to make me some when I am down there.

We were out and about taking Evan to the orthodontist today. Evan was talking about girls being different from boys.. we went ya what? He was talking about the differences between Anya's and Maia's orthodontic treatment and his. You just never know what he is going to come up with. Then he started talking about philosophy and various cultural differences with people.. not bad for a 13 year old. He was also saying that he would like to have lived in earlier times especially at school when their was more respect for their teachers and the discipline etc but he was glad about the technological improvements that have been made.

So look at what you can look forward to Linda as the little girls grow up.

The end of another day and I am tired, although Esme has been very good. She went to sleep in her high chair again after dinner. When she woke up, lets just say there was delicate aroma from the nappy region. As it is hot she just had a little dress and nappy on. As I carried her to get changed, something didn't feel right, so I looked to discover that the nappy had leaked and I bad a handful of delicate aroma. The things you do for babies
