What is wrong with Face Time Carole, Sue likes it.

I hope that your OH will be OK Sylvia, it was a shame it had to happen on your trip

Eve loved the big pool this morning,we spent a long time there. This afternoon we went to the lake and I looked after Esme while the others took a pedalo out. OH said it was really hard work.

It has been a glorious day but clouded over just before our BBQ. We just finished eating before the rain started.

I laughed at the thought of your leg with the sock and shoe Tec, please be careful tomorrow when you practice

Hello everyone,

Linda, I think I like you going on holidays more than you do lol FaceTime, I'm still giggling :-D

Sue, your trip sounds fantastic, lucky duck <3

The wind is atrocious here, I feel we may be blown down to Tassie. OH has been out earlier today picking up gum limbs, big ones!!

Carole :-)

I had to look up Centre Parcs... I see they have them in several places.

I am looking forward to spending a bit of time in Scotland if I ever get away from this place.. he keeps talking travel.. so we shall see.

We have watched Neil Oliver on Scotland, then we did the Wales series and now we are going around the Celtic Britain. We recorded them all and have been watching them all in order a bit each evening. Have found him to be very good.

Eve Esme And their mummy and daddy are here as well as OH

We are just about to go to the large swimming pool, oh goodie

Hello everyone :-)

Tec I laughed at the thought of your leg Archie with it's sock and shoe on in your bedroom :-D :-D

Sorry to read that the Duchess has derteriated ( read it on the Welsh thread ) I am just glad that my dad alway's remembered who I was ( probably because I saw him often ) whereas he didn't remember his other 5 children ( probably because he didn't see them ) when you get your licence back at least you will be able to see her more often and maybe able to arrange a meal out with her and your neighbour to help you at a place local to the care home. <3 :-)

Sue your Scotland trip sound's nice. I have relative's that come from Scotland but have never been there, maybe one day I will see as much of the UK as you have but first I need to find myself a rich man who can drive :-D

Linda you really are getting around lately, making me dizzy just thinking of all the packing and un-packing :-D
Hope you enjoy your time at Centre Parcs ( are the family with you ) ?

~~~~~~~ to all not mentioned by name and hope you are all well :-) <3
Hi Sue, and everyone
The Highlands are spectacular, aren't they? :-)
OH is in no pain .................. as long as he eats several small meals a day, and doesn't try to eat too much so that things get blocked up.
He has an appointment with the GP on Thursday, and it has already been arranged that he will be referred to the gastro surgeon that he already sees for the colonoscopies that he has to have done.
His next colonoscopy is on July 15th .............. but I doubt very much that that will be combined with an investigation of this new problem :-)
the weather has changed here ................... it is hot, hot, hot!
and it is going to get hotter as the week goes on.
take care everyone
xx
Hello, :-)
Another lovely warm day here.
My brother and SIL arrived with my wooden leg that they collected from the hospital.
It is currently in my bedroom, complete with my sock, and a smart shoe adorning the foot.
It does look very odd, if a little spooky to see ones leg lying about without you :-D
I have more visitors tomorrow, when we will visit the Duchess, so won't practice with my new leg until Wednesday - that should be interesting.
Sue sounds like the visit to Alnwick Castle was very interesting. I have the Alnwick rose in my garden. It's a beautiful pink rose, and the Duchess of Alnwick has planted hundreds of them at Alnwick Castle.
Well, I don't suppose that she planted them personally :-D
Linda I hope that you all have a great time at Centre Parks, and the weather is kind.
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 7 Jul 2014 21:22
Yes we bought a First Edition for £995 ;-). Well not really - we looked at it through glass. There were millions of books.
LindainHerriotCountry
Hello everyone :-D
Don't worry about the neighbours Linda - we invited all of them. I can assure you no one will complain :-D
We went to Alnwick Castle today - what a lovely place to visit. We saw a falconry demonstration. It was very interesting - the birds were quite magnificent especially a huge eagle.
Hope you have a wonderful time, Linda. Don't worry - we're here to take care of your house ;-) :-D
LindainHerriotCountry
LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Jul 2014 20:22
I am bracing myself for irate texts from the neighbours :-(
The mobile signal is very iffy here Sue, so if you need anything and cant get through, send a message on GR or FaceTime as the wifi does work
We are ensconced in our lodge, we were going to have a BBQ but as we came out of the little supermarket with the meat, the heavens opened,so we ate in ones of the bars instead. It is very nice here, it only opened a few weeks ago,so everything is new. It even has a sauna in the patio
