Goodnight Linda - sleep tight <3

Hello Amanda. No - the pies weren't burnt :-D I'm sure Megan will settle into a new routine. Im glad she is enjoying the work. Thank you for your kind words for my son. He was quite worried about one of his exams so we are all pleased he passed. He works very hard.

It has been a lovely warm, sunny day here. A little windy but we sat out in the sun and enjoyed the smell of the flowers.

The football is on!!

Hello everyone .

It has just taken me ages to read back through the thread , goodness me , you lot don't half chat a lot ......lol

Sue , I hope you didn't do a " king Alfred " with your pies :-0

Linda , I hope your enjoying your holiday , it certainly sounds as if the little ones are having a fine time .

Tec , I hope you got on okay " walking Archie " , I think you are an inspiration , the way you are meeting all these obsticals (sp) head on <3

Hello Diane , I hope your getting along okay xx

~~~~~ to Persie , Berona , Carol . Huia and Sylvia .
It has been an awful day here wqeather wise , one borrowed from October I should think :-| my garden has been blown about all day long and as everything is in full bloom it has whipped around with gusto :-(
My daughter Meg started her new job a few days ago . She has been getting along with it very well , the only thing is the shifts are exhausting her as they are an early and a late back to back ( as in 3pm -10pm one day , them 8am - 3pm the following one ) . I'm sure she will get used to it eventually and she is finding the careing to be rewarding :-)
Sue , well done to your son on passing all his exams :-D
Another long day, after a tantrum Eve has gone to sleep. Esme has also gone to bed,so her mum has as well.
SOS call from Sue because she couldn't get the oven to work to cook her pies :-D
Disaster of having to eat cold pies averted, hope she didn't burn them
LindainHerriotCountry Report 9 Jul 2014 07:22
Good morning bright and early. OH is currently walking Esme around the forest. My daughter looked like a zombie at 6.30am, she hasn't slept all night. We can't hear anything from our bedroom, but they bring Esme into the lounge at 6.30 to feed her,so we got up and sent them back to bed
Time for me to take over walking now
Hi Sue, and everyone
Sue ........ congratulations to your son on passing his exams :-)
Tec ............. it must be heartbreaking for you when the Duchess makes comments such as that xxxxx
(((hugs)))
We are having lovely weather here .............. but I would prefer it a few degrees cooler :-)
Never satisfied, are we?? :-)
OH has an appointment to see the family doctor on Thursday afternoon, to "discuss" matters and get a referral to the specialist.
He is in no pain ...................... normally, that is :-)
He just has to be careful to eat small regular meals, several times a day, and make sure that he drinks enough with the food .................... drinks water and juice, that is.
It's if he eats too much at one time, gulps his food down fast, or doesn't drink enough that the blockage can develop, and he then gets the pain.
He may just have to learn to live with the situation as is .................... sometimes the operation to correct it is worse than how it is now.
Take care everyone
s
xx
They certainly played to win.
Well I can go to bed now so I'll say goodnight <3
Have fun walking with Archie tomorrow :-D
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:58
Well thank goodness it didn't go into extra time and penalties - I can go to bed at a reasonable time :-D
Goodnight to you both - sleep well,
Goodnight,
Tec :-)
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:55
That was a very unnecessary comment - uncalled for.
Oh well - well done Germany, they are a class act
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 8 Jul 2014 22:52
Well they did score a goal :-D Did you hear it described as the most pointless goal scored in a World Cup? Not very nice I thought :-)
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:47
Hooray :-D
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:46
I wish Germany would at least let them score one :-D
all those little lads going home with broken hearts - it's cruel :-D
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:42
I agree Sue - but it takes more than one man to make a team, or should do
7-0 I can't believe it
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 8 Jul 2014 22:41
You are very kind Tec :-D It would have meant a lot to Brazil but with their captain out they seem to have lost heart
:-(
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Jul 2014 22:37
I wanted Brazil to win. Nothing against Germany, but football is so much part of Brazilian culture, being the pastime of the poorest.
It would have meant so much more to them.
am I all heart? :-D
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 8 Jul 2014 22:32
It's humiliating :-0 Before the game I told OH that I wanted Germany to win but thought Brazil would. He said he expected Germany to win but not so easily.
