Goodnight Linda - sleep well, enjoy tomorrow at the Spa :-)

Sue the lily's are all in bloom now, and the smell is overpowering when you're close up.

Goodnight Linda - sweet dreams <3

We are off to Chelmsford for a couple of days to visit family. We're very much looking forward to seeing this branch as there are two new babies we haven't met yet.

Eve must be having a wonderful time with her parents and grandparents.

The weather wasn't too bad today. Overcast with the sun breaking through now and then. It was quite warm. OH's aunt took us out into her lovely garden. The flowers smelt lovely in the sun. My SIL was very impressed - it takes a lot to impress her :-(

The farmers are paid to leave a wild life strip, or there is no way they would be so altruistic

Eve Is having a great time. She went to the Teddy Bears Picnic this morning, then we were swimming all afternoon. It is nice to be able to give her lots of attention, she has to wait while Esme is seen to on normal days

Hello Everyone, :-)

Good day weatherwise, sunny and warm, and the wind had dropped. I did a line full of washing and it all dried.
Didn't do much else. There have been visitors each day for four days, so I am a bit worn out. Though it was lovely to see them of course, a bit wearing.
Took Archie for a short walk about the place this afternoon - he is beginning to find his way around :-D

Persie I watched the Argentine/Holland match in disbelief - can't wait for the final.

Sue it looks like you had a nice time with your relatives, and a nice lunch :-)
Please don't let Linda's pot plants die - you'll never hear the end of it :-D

Linda I hope you all enjoy your meal tonight. You seem to have struck lucky with the weather.
I should think Eve is having a lovely time :-D

Diane the Naional Wild Flower Centre sounds good - I think I would like to go there.
I see the farmers are being encouraged to cultivate strips of their land with wild flowers, which is good for wildlife, insects etc.

Hello everyone :-D.

Can we have your SIL's autograph, Persie :-D

Today we took OH's brother and his wife to visit an Auntie. She is a lovely lady and treated us to a lovely hot lunch followed by homemade cakes that she had baked this morning. Amazing considering she is 84 with some health problems. She told some wonderful family stories.

Ooh a film star in the family Persie :-D

We have had another hard afternoon in the pool :-D

Just ordered food to be delivered tonight. This place has a captive audience so the shops, restaurants rack up huge amounts of money for them. Still we can't take it with us and we a having a great tine so who cares.

I hope you and Archie have had a good day Tec

I was watching the Nertherland/Argentina match this morning whilst the curtain man put up the new curtains in our bedroom and lounge.. don't normally watch daytime TV. Though sometimes we do a catch up on something that has been recorded.

Tonight we have one of our local TV comic/dramas on. It is about a real estate agent called Agent Anna and for those Aussies that watched Rake the actress Robyn Malcolm is the Agent Anna. She plays a real estate agent.. we all had to watch it tonight cause last episode her mother had died and tonight our son-in-law was used as an extra, they used one of the Hearses from his work and you see him making a couple of 'cameo' appearances with putting the coffin in. He was so serious as well.

Hello all,

Hi Amanda, hope your head cold is better tomorrow.
Doing a caring job is very exhausting having done the job for many year's I can well understand how Meg feel's at the end of a shift. <3

Linda I was looking at the Centre Parcs places on google and thought they would be places I would love to visit on my own or with family as I like the countryside/ woodlands setup rather than a beach. I do like going to the beach/ coast when the heat of the day has dropped and the sun isn't so strong as I have a skin reaction to being in the sun.

Sue, congratulation's to your son on doing well with his exam's.
Hope you continue to enjoy your time on holiday here.

Tec, well done on your first attempt with Archie around your home :-)

Hello Mersey, hope all's well with you, I made a big effort on Sunday and went to the National Wildflower Centre at Court Hey Park with my daughter, there was a dog show event and she was entering my grand-daughter's Pomeranian in it.

~~~~~~~~ to all not mentioned :-)
Tec , I'm impressed that you have done as well as you have , so rapidly . I'm sure that you will master the tin leg in good time :-)
I am going to be saying good night now . I'm in the grips of a head cold at the moment ( it has been sweeping through the clan :-| ) .
Night night <3
