Oh Tec - I only started the thread. It's the lovely people that have been chatting on here that makes it so wonderful <3

Linda - I was convinced that your OH would find the house full of squatters from Oz :-D

Hello, :-)

It rained here all day today, and was quite dull.

My brother and SIL visited. For once there was nothing for him to do . Usually he does a job for me outside, but there's nothing much for him to do outside at the moment.
It was good to just sit and chat for a while..

I am having a new kitchen in a few weeks, fitted by a firm that specialises in kitchens for the disabled. The graphic impressions arrived today, and it looks good.
My kitchen is not large, and I'm surprised at what can be done in a relatively small kitchen. Quite looking forward to, now that after much deliberation I've decided to go for it. It will be easier, and more importantly safer for me.

Diane I hope your weather in Liverpool was better than here - better weather forecast for the rest of the week though.

Linda I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves this week, sounds like it. :-)
Hope that little Esme will be kind to you tomorrow.

Sue - How five years has flown - almost unbelievable.
Should make you proud to be the author of the thread with the most posts over those years.
True friendships have been forged, and changes in all our lives. Some good, some not so good.
Speaking for myself, I don't know how I would have coped these last few years without the support and companionship that have seen me through the darkest days of the last year especially.
Surely there can be no more human act than to bring people together - thankyou <3

Phew, OH is back home and I am pleased to report that the house is intact, Sue hasn't sold the furniture while we have been away :-D

The date passed me by :-(

Yes we have been chatting for five years and it continues to amaze me how long this thread has continued.

We have gone through some highs and lows together and very firm friendships have come about. That makes me very happy :-D

You are right Linda - who would have thought <3

Goodness, I didn't realise we had been chatting for so long Sue. Who would have thought that it would last so long and that we would become such good friends

This week has gone so quickly, I took Eve swimming by myself this afternoon and we had a really good time. We have to leave tomorrow morning, I have to go to London to look after Esme and OH will go home to see Sue.

Given their current form, they would welcome you with open arms Tec :-D

Sorry I disappeared without saying goodnight, my daughter came back, so I did the handover and went to bed

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 12 Jul 2014 22:54

Hooray - the match has finished on time, so that I can have an "early" night :-D

Tomorrow is the final, then it will be all over - thank goodness.

Think I might approach Brazil to see if they need me.

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Some years ago I wrote a Fairy Story for children 3-5 yrs.
If I can find the manuscript I will send it to you. You can decide if it's suitable.
No idea where it is at the moment - somewhere among my junk :-D

Tecwyn Report 12 Jul 2014 22:17

Just tell Eve I'm a retired pirate, who still lives by the sea :-D

Tecwyn Report 12 Jul 2014 22:15

Sue you may pass through some of the places that I lived in as a youngster. Hatfield Peveral, Terling, Dunmow, and finally Billericay.
They were quiet little places 60 years ago :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 12 Jul 2014 22:13

I will, although if I describe you like that she will probably think you are a baddies from one of her story books

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 12 Jul 2014 22:11

Hello Sue - You are in the land of my childhood, or part of it. I know that area so well, but know it is much busier now - glad you had a good day :-)

Hello everyone :-D

We are having a wonderful time in Chelmsford visiting family. Today we went to Constable country and saw the area that he painted the Hay Wain. Very cultural :-)
