It is only two days since I cleaned your bathroom, I suppose you want it done every day.

OH was primed to make the salad, so you didn't need to do that either.

Did you remember to have the rhubarb?

I actually feel more like my normal self this week Tec, I must admit to have been very tired before that, but I have my second wind now

I had to make the salad too :-(

Wow Linda - you exhaust me just telling me about your day :-D.

Sue - You just can't get reliable staff these day :-D

:-0 :-0

I had to do all our washing and clean the bathroom - I'm not happy about Linda having to go down south :-|

Good evening Tec,

I am finally here, later than normal. My train home was cancelled last Thursday and when I got to the station today my train down was cancelled. It meant I had to Change in York, but I was only half an hour later into London.

I have been slaving away in the kitchen all day. Sue insisted that if I was going away, that I should cook some meals so that she only has to reheat them
:-(

Plus I went to the allotment this morning to pick a certain type of berry and turned them into something which I know someone likes :-D

Hello Sarah :-) Welcome to the thread - I am known as Tec and live in North Wales.
Hope you will post again - we are a friendly lot :-)

Another lovely day.
My brother and SIL visited today. They both did a few jobs in the garden, like dead heading roses, and pruning a small tree.
I really appreciate that they travel over 60 miles every week to see me, and will help with anything I can't manage.

Milo went home this evening when his mother returned home. He was no trouble to take care of. He will be back here in the morning for his daily biscuit :-D
It is good to have a dog about the place again :-)

Hello Sarah

Sue who is the instigator of this thread, she lives in NSW but is gallivanting around overseas at present.

We have Tec who is in Wales, Linda in Yorkshire, Sylvia in Canada (she is away yet again) Berona in OZ, Carole in Victoria, Huia in NZ, Amanda is near Norwich, Diane is from Liverpool but she has decided not to renew.

Others pop in from time time like Mersey and Allan and Jemima .. we are a happy bunch... Sometimes we will be hard to follow but if you play along you'll get the hang of it.

I am Persie in NZ but I love Australia and I have a bit of ancestry over in Oz. ..

I don't think I have left anyone out there are a couple of others that come on here but not that often.

We have two interesting little churches here. One in the village itself, and the other is set on a cliff two miles out of the village - no longer used regularly except for twice a year at Easter and Christmas. There iis no electricity so services are held in candlelight.

Ancient with a fascinating history bit like me really :-D

Oh dear - surely he has a younger brother :-)

I love cathedrals but there is something about a simple village church that is pleasing to the soul :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 20 Jul 2014 23:06

You are wrong about the boy from the village.

He now resides in the Outer Hebrides. :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 20 Jul 2014 23:02

These friends are very good at finding lovely places for us to visit.

Don't worry about the garden - the young man from the village is coming back home. He'll fix it for you :-D

Sue, sounds like your day was very interesting. I also like RAF museums, and hoping to visit Cosford one day, as my daughter lives not too far from there.
I also like churches and Cathedrals. Always marvel at the architecture.

They couldn't build the today - not just the cost, but the skills have gone

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 20 Jul 2014 22:54

Hello Tec :-) we went to a RAF Museum near York after a lovely Sunday lunch. We were then treated to a visit to a rather unusual church. It was a very enjoyable day.

Linda - do you really want to meet these friends?
