Well I knew there was no way I could go on the scooter at snails pace in that weather, so was relieved when they suggested that Archie and I go up in the car, even though it is only a short distance. |

It was too wet to go to the pub on the scooter, I would have been drowned. So they took my up in the car and dropped me at the door :-) |

I phoned them quite early to ask them not to come, but they had already left. Apparently things weren't too bad in Wrexham, and the sun was even out in Bala - only when they reached Dolthingy and got nearer the coast things got wild |
