having dined with the Queen's cousin - was equally as refined as him, except he arrived in an Aston Martin, and me in a Volkwagon Golf :-D

No, nothing planned. No appointments thank goodness.

I might make a start on sorting the bedroom out. I have to arrange for the council to take the bed away before I can get the decorator in. I have to empty the wardrobes first, so that they can be moved out of the alcoves.
I can do it slowly.

On the other hand - I might go to London, book in at Claridges. Have a trip on the London Eye. Afternoon tea at the Ritz.
Do a couple of shows, and come home - we'll see :-D

Have you lots of exciting things planned for next week?

It was nice Linda - I was so surprised. No idea how she got my number.

It is true, I have seem more relatives since I became ill, than I had seen for years :-D

I remember a day in hospital when things were not good, that people I hadn't seen for years were around the bed. Fortunately I wasn't really awake, so had nothing to say.
I do remember thinking "Gosh, I must be ill" :-D

Usually we only see each other at funerals

That was nice for you Tec. You only had to get ill for all your family to get back in touch again :-D

Hooray for tumble dryers :-D

I have had a phonecall from a cousin I haven't seen or spoken to for over 40 years. She was on the phone for over 90 minutes :-D

We are the same age, and spent a lot of time together when we were children.
It was good to go over old times, and catchup

The washing is all done, thanks to the tumble dryer. The car is clean again, there was a huge amount of rubble in the boot, so I think we need to clean the vacuum cleaner now.

I can't wait to get back to my tree as there are some promising new records out, but they will have to wait until I stop going down to London

Hope you caught up with the washing, but it's not been a day for it here. Dull and drizzly.

I stayed in and felt lazy, so worked on my tree. Don't think I can go much further, but want to solve a few mysteries surrounding some people.

I have done the supermarket and town square shopping,so it is only the car to tackle this afternoon, plus the huge pile of washing, I had a different set of work clothes every day because they were so dirty

The family went out for lunch and a good time was had by all. The children were more excited about the chocolate birthday cake :-D

It is raining now as predicted. Supposed to last all next week.our son is hoping it stops by Friday as he has a field trip next weekend.
