Some of ours are very over priced as well, but they don't usually sell. The one I have in the dining room is by one of the cinema volunteers, she really is good and hers get snapped up.

I have two belonging to my close friend, one is on the landing and one in my bedroom. They are nowhere near as good, but they are more special to me.

Sadly, there isn't anything cheap in the local art show - actually I sometimes think some of the artists are quite ambitious with their pricing - can only assume they don't want to part with them really :-D

I don't buy expensive ones, my friends are cheap :-D :-D

I am particularly interested in the work of one local artist.
He does offer some of his work for sale.
If he has a good one of a local scene I might be tempted - though they are quite expensive, but each one is unique of course.

We have an annual art show as well, it is always excellent. I have bought paintings done by two friends. Half the money is given to charity. One of them is a close friend and she has told me to come and look through he run framed stuff and take whatever I want.

The weather looks awful here on Monday Bank Holiday, but you may get away with it.

The village art show is on this weekend, I may go to have a look. Usually a very high standard, we have some accomplished artists here.

I see the Iceland volcano is going to erupt again. When the last one erupted, we had our holiday cancelled,so I hope it doesn't happen again

There was an incredible amount of bedding stored here. I t will never be used. Even having got rid of lots today there is still more than I need here.

The Duchess had a habit of buying new, but never getting rid of any, consequently it piles up over years taking up space.

The bags of stuff are too heavy for me to get downstairs, so my brother will have to do it. He is in the Isle of Man at the moment, so I won't see him for a couple of weeks.
