I had a good journey and got here much earlier than normal. My poor daughter is dreadfully ill, she has seen a doctor at the walk in clinic, they say it is just a virus but have given her a prescription for antibiotics to use in a couple of days if she doesn't get better.

Esme is ill as well, throwing up all the time. I did some house tidying when I arrived, then was gobsmakedvwhen Eves father announced he was going in to Central London to meet a friend to watch football.

I cooked a meal for Eve and me and got her to bed, Esme is in her cot now as well. She wakes up all the time,so I am lying ion my daughters bed with Esme snoring away on one side and my daughter moaning in her sleep on the other

Not likely where he went Tec :-D no crocodiles and none of our spiders are quite that big :-D they did go "frogging" so he could have been attacked by a giant frog or tadpole :-D

I am glad to hear that your son has safely returned from his trek into no man's land.

Just be thankful that he smells damp and muddy. He could have been eaten by crocodiles, or attacked by poisonous spiders the size of dustbin lids.

Actually I'm not still in bed - I am sat in the sun drinking a cup of coffee that OH has made for me. It is chilly but the sun is nice. I wanted to get up earlier to put some washing in the machine. Our son has returned from his trek into the wilds and his clothes smell damp and muddy.

Some of my statements can be quite thought provoking - I can't remember which ones, but I must have said something sensible in all these years.
