Amanda - Sounds like his days on the allotment are numbered in any event - something to look forward to :-D

Sylvia, I was in a large dept store in Manchester a few years ago. They had a "crèche" for men.
Television, magazines, newspapers. coffee machine.

It appeared to be well used :-D

Some of the bigger stores, have crèches for husbands, complete with sports on the TV's

I sometimes began to think they had given her a job :-D

I noticed that the department store I often visit downtown, began about 3 or 4 years ago to have very comfortable armchairs strategically placed around the "women's" floor

The men look much more comfortable sitting in them than perched on the edge of a display stand :-D

Tec , I'm sure you will hear the cheers from where you are , if he is evicted :-) I don't , as a rule , go for mob rule either but it would cetainly be his " karma " to have us all rise up as one against him !

Sylvia , your physio man sounds like a good chap :-) Back problems are aweful to bear . I hope you are not in to much pain all the while x

now now Tec ..............

she was looking at lots of things, but "nothing" appealed to her :-)

Tecwyn Report 31 Aug 2014 21:29

The Duchess frequently disappeared into a store, leaving me outside with the dog - sometimes in the rain :-0

After maybe an hour, or longer, she would appear empty handed and inform me that there was nothing in there :-S

So what was she looking at? - nothing :-D

Thank you, Amanda

It's been a long haul ............. it "went" back in March :-(

Yes, I do have physiotherapy exercises to do, and I go to the physio every 3 weeks

I've been going to the same guy since 1997 .................... my back is the main problem, and I swear that his work is the only reason that I'm not already in a wheelchair.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 31 Aug 2014 21:26

Amanda - please tell me in advance if that is about to happen :-D

I don't normally condone mob rule - but in this case I would love to watch :-D

Hello Tec :-D I think if the nutcase carrys on much longer there will be a re-enactment from one of those old Frankenstin (sp ) films . Pitch foks and the angry mob .........lol

Amanda2003 Report 31 Aug 2014 21:21

Thank you Sylvia :-)

I hope your poor knee gets better soon . Do you have physiotherapy (sp) exercises to do ?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 31 Aug 2014 21:20

Hello Amanda, :-)

Thank you - it is great to be a liberated man again :-D

So pleased to hear that your resident allotment nutcase is no longer directing his insanity at your plot alone.
Can't you bury him in the compost pit? :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 31 Aug 2014 21:19

Tec .................

I will, don't worry :-)

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 31 Aug 2014 21:18

Hi Amanda

glad to hear that you have not had too many more problems, and that action is being considered.

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 31 Aug 2014 21:17

Linda .......................

that's my OH to a T :-D

except when we go away when he will do a certain amount of "wandering"

The knee actually is very much better ........... I now have to start walking properly ............... I adapted to what the knee would and would not do, but that is not as I should be walking. So, unless I manage to correct it, the hip is going to go

you know that old song ................

the knee bone is connected to the leg bone .................................

it's all true :-)

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 31 Aug 2014 21:17

I will be back with coffee in a sec

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 31 Aug 2014 21:15

It will be great Sylvia if your knee does improve to the extent that you can get to the shops alone, only you can know how likely that is.

In the meantime, consider all options. :-)

Hello Amanda, I am glad your "girls" are OK now. Some people are nuts, why on earth can't the person just get on with growing things
