we're waiting to see if our daughter will phone, as she usually does on a Sunday ............ but we'll be going out for afternoon coffee in about 40 minutes if she hasn't phoned by then

so they will be busy trying to do some fun thing, as well as get her husband ready for school, which starts, as always, on the day after Labour Day

I think most men, if asked, will agree that the chosen item is just fine, perfect,

then when the item gets home, and herself doesn't like it after all,

Sylvia , I think that your staying on a lowish dose of codeine for as long as you have is a wise thing .

my father was unemployed after WW2 ended ............. I think there was actually a mini-depression.

Anyway, he had difficulty getting another job quickly, and so Mum had to go back to work.


She found herself a part time position at the most exclusive Ladies and Children's dress shop in the centre of the town.


After Dad got a job, and she had some disposable income again ................. I think most of whatever money she earned went to paying for clothes that she got at a discount from the store, both for herself and for me :-D


She worked there unitl she died in 1961.


She got me a Saturday job (plus summers) when I was 11 or 12

OH just says everything looks fine,so he is no help :-(

a lot of the women here seem to want to show whatever they're thinking of buying, or are trying on, to the husband ......................... I think that is why the comfy chairs are strategically placed



there were 2 chairs quite close to the entrance to the Ladies washroom on that floor ............... sort of across the aisle and about 5' down

Amanda ..................... some pain almost all the time, much more sometimes


and "some times" can be .............. change in the weather (yes, that old wives tale :-) ), doing too much, not keeping the correct posture.


However, so far I haven't had to go any further than a lowish dose of our equivalent of your paracetamol with codeine (300 mg acetaminophen with 30 mg codeine and 15 mg caffeine)


so I'm much better than a lot of people !
