Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3

SueMaid Report 3 Sep 2014 23:14

That horrid smell of regurgitated milk - yuk :-(

I am running a training session tomorrow for new volunteers. I quite enjoy the day and I have a full house so it should be a good training group.

Sorry I haven't been here for long tonight. My SIL and daughter were watching TV with me,so I couldn't type. I need to go to bed now, so goodnight

Good Morning Sue,

Quite warm here today, and settled for a few days. Summer has returned. :-D

Hope that your day brightens :-)

So do I Sue, my clothes are covered in sick :-(

Tecwyn Report 3 Sep 2014 22:59

Yes I had a burial ceremony for my dead fish. He is now somewhere out in the Irish Sea I should imagine :-D

I hope Esme is better after the anti-biotics are finished.

It is a good idea for Eve's teacher to make a home visit and introduce herself to Eve.
I have never heard of that before.
I hope that she will quickly make new friends at big school.

Good morning/evening :-) Overcast but dry and the horrid wind has dropped.

Oh dear Carole - we will miss you on here but as you say we can catch up elsewhere. Happy 21st to your daughter <3

Poor little Esme- I hope she settles on the new feeding regime before long.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Sep 2014 22:51

Oh dear, I hope you held a suitable burial ceremony for the fish Tec.

Esme managed to keep down one feed with only tw o projectile vomits today. She has another week of strong antibiotics, so hopefully will improve when those finish.

Eve starts big school on Monday, but only goes half days for the first two weeks. Her teacher is coming to the house tomorrow morning for a home visit, so I have tidied up today

Hello Everyone, :-)

Carole - Sad to see you leave the site, but I understand. I too only use the site now to keep in daily touch with friends here and on the Welsh thread.
Thank you for your kind comments. I am fine now, and just getting on with life, though things are much brighter now that I can drive again.
Congratulations to your daughter on her 21st. What more could you ask for than to have three lovely children.
I hope we can stay in touch. Take care <3

Sylvia - I don't know what the arrangements are at the home for visiting relatives. I should imagine most relatives visit for an hour or two then go home.
If I stay for the day I will be quite happy to pay for my dinner there, or wait till I get home. I really don't mind.

Linda I hope that today improved with Esme. Has Eve been to "big" school yet?

Today I spent washing and drying things. Picking ripened tomatoes in the garden, and playing with my fish. One has died :-(

Oh dear a sad day Carole :-

Congratulations to your daughter, good on her wanting a family celebration, not a girls night out.

Esme is fast asleep, so I have been doing housework, I am just grabbing five minutes for myself. She has had two meals so far and has done two massive projectile vomits. She is on a new feeding regime this week on homemade food with just one small milk feed at night. That will save the NHS some money as her milk is the most expensive one there is. It has been costing about £250 a week for the specialist milk. <3

Hello everyone,

I'm popping in to say my sub ends today, Ive decided not to renew. You can contact me elsewhere, or by email if you wish.
I very rarely use this site, only for this thread now. I shall continue to keep my eye on you all, especially you Tec :-) I am so pleased you are driving again, I am also so proud of all you have achieved, considering all you have had to endure, with yourself and the Duchess <3 Cwtches to you both as always xx

We have had another milestone. My daughter turns 21 tomorrow :-) We had a lovely family dinner last Saturday evening, to celebrate. She did not want the customary 21st party, just a nice quiet family thing. It was a great night :-)
Her friends organised a 2 hour trail ride on Tuesday, which they all enjoyed very much.
She has grown into a lovely young lady and we are so proud and lucky to have 3 beautiful young adults.

Linda, give Eve and Esme a big hug and a kiss from me, a huge one for you too, lovely lady <3

Take care all, Sue this is the best thread on these boards, oh, and the Welsh thread <3

Carole xx

Hello Bill - good to see you :-D

I hope Esme has a good day today Linda <3

Sylvia - I hadn't noticed. We are a chatty lot aren't we? :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 3 Sep 2014 09:12

Hello Bill, nice to see you back on line

Esme is rolling about the floor playing, but I will have to feed her again soon, even though breakfast was finished not that long ago. She was sick after she finished that, but to answer Sue, we don't feed her again until the next feed is due, although we sometimes bring it forward if she seems hungry.

At lunchtime, I try to give her tiny tastes of jam or custard etc, just so she knows all food doesn't taste like sick

Hi Sue, and everyone

it was physio day today, so I was out for several hours :-)

Only 14C and raining hard ............... so it wasn't pleasant enough to do much walking around :-(

Tec ............. I bet the people in the village shop were surprised to see you walk in :-)

Of course, you must spend Christmas Day with the Duchess ............... do they put on a Christmas lunch for residents and family, or will you have to find your own meal?

Linda ................ poor little Esme xxxx

not too much other excitement here

take care everyone
