Goodnight Linda - sleep well.

Good Morning BillinOz, :-)

Don't think we've ever "spoken " before. I'm known as Tec, and live in North Wales.

Been a very warm day here, and your weather should be warming up soon :-)

Going out together in the car could be fraught with dangers :-(

as you say, I can at least visit more often.

I think that would be the biggest stumbling block Tec - the Duchess thinking she was going home :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Sep 2014 23:17

That she would think she was going home was my first thought Tec, it is so complicated, but at least you can see her more regularly now

SueMaid Report 5 Sep 2014 23:16

The stroppy lady spoke over people and added her own 'words of wisdom' to the presentations by the professionals. I think she thought herself above the other volunteers. She has an OBE after her name :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2014 23:15

Yes Linda, the home would probably accept that.

Then there is the problem of her thinking we are all going home :-(

oh dear - nothing is ever simple is it? :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2014 23:12

Hopefully the lady with health issues will be happy with whatever she can still do to help the organisation.
Everyone's contribution is valuable in whatever capacity.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Sep 2014 23:08

Well that saved you a problem in the making Sue

I can just imagine you chasing after the Duchess in your wheelchair Tec :-D if your daughter was with you they would probably be find with that

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2014 23:08

Maybe the lady thought the organisation was something else.

Maybe she thought it would be too long before she got to run the show :-D

Maybe she should take up puppy walking - then she'd be in charge :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 5 Sep 2014 23:08

Tec - this lady had to retire at 68 because of her health issues. She was a nurse so I think that this was a way to still feel useful in the community. I felt very sad for her :-(

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 5 Sep 2014 23:04

She didn't come back after lunchtime :-0. Then rang to say she was sorry but she just decided to go home :-S

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2014 23:03

I will discuss the issue with the home Linda. I doubt they would be happy letting her out in my care, given my mobility problems.
The Duchess can move very quickly when she wants to

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Sep 2014 23:00

It is good that the lady with the walking stick can still play a useful role in the organisation.
She must be aware that her physical limitations would prevent her from certain duties.

That is a shame Sue. How did the stroppy woman do
