Goodnight Tec - sleep tight <3

No Sylvia - she hadn't had any pups. She wasn't microchipped and was wearing a collar but no ID. The staff said she isn't scared of men or women so they didn't think she had been mistreated but she was scruffy although well fed.

It's good that she is maybe past the chewing everything stage.

Still young enough to train.

Try tying one of her toys to a piece of string and get her to follow you dragging it behind you in jerking movements. That should get her attention until she realises it's a game, and may introduce her to playing - worth a try.

The children will love her I'm sure :-)

Well I must go to bed - cwtches to Maisie :-D

Enjoy your day playing with Maisie Sue,

Enjoy your day Sylvia,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

had she had any pups before being put in the re-homing place?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 21 Sep 2014 23:44

Maisie is very cuddly but quite boisterous. She is still a pup so it's to be expected. She isn't destructive from what we can see. The children are on school holidays and are meeting her today. They have been told that she may be sore after her op and to be careful with her.

Brilliant that she will use the dog flap.

Shame that she doesn't know how to play with toys. No one could ever have played with her, which is sad, but she will learn with patience.

Milo next door to me is 13 yrs old. He didn't know how to play when he arrived, but Sue kept trying until at last he got it, and now he will play a little bit, but he is old

SylviaInCanada Report 21 Sep 2014 23:37

so she must never have had any toys to play with? :-(

maybe, she never had a bed either, then.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 21 Sep 2014 23:33

Wow - 80,000 :-D. Who would have thought it?

Maisie has barked at Mickey the goat. She is using the dog flap to go outside - big bonus. She doesn't sleep on her bed but plays with it. She doesn't know any commands and doesn't know how to play with toys :-( She loves cuddles :-)

It was a beautiful day in Wales Sylvia - quite warm and sunny, with a definite smell of Autumn in the air - cool tonight with a mist
