I have just been telling OH about your allotment loonie Amanda. He says you definitely need to get the police involved especially if you have photographic evidence

Tecwyn Report 24 Sep 2014 22:42

I am stripping the walls from the wheelchair, standing on one leg like a stork to do the high bits.

As the ceilings are so high there is an emulsioned freeze about 18 inches down, so wallpaper not too high.

When the walls are stripped I have a man booked to emulsion all the walls - no more papering.

Eventually, I think I could use a step ladder using Archie, but not that confident yet

Great minds think alike Linda :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Sep 2014 22:37

Ah yes now the kitchen is done, you can get on with the bedroom. I hope you aren't standing on ladders to do the top part

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 22:36

No Sue , there was never any hard evidence regarding the chickens :-( just a great deal of circumstancial (sp) stuff . For all he is an idiot , he isn't stupid ( if that makes sense ) .

Tec , I wish you meant that :-)

Will you be hanging new paper in the bedroom or painting the walls ? I hope you are not expecting poor Archie to get you up any step ladders :-S :-|

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 24 Sep 2014 22:32

Amanda you need someone with some authority on that committee - I'll be down tomorrow :-D

Linda I have been stripping wallpaper in my bedroom today

SueMaid Report 24 Sep 2014 22:31

Is there proof that he killed your chooks Amanda as surely that is a definite crime. What a worry for the other allotment users :-(

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 22:25

He did strim down a womans pototo foliage ( he decided it had blight ) , I think she was one of the people that wrote a letter of complaint but we get all our pieces of infomation via " chinese whispers " .

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 22:22

Hello Sue :-) I hope you enjoy your breakfast out . I was up early this morning , 4am to be precise , thanks to Grand-daughter Bella , the blighter just wouldn't go back to sleep .......grrrrrrr .

Good evening Tec , yes , I believe you are right and that the police will be involved eventually . The community police , special officers ( that walk around on the estate ) are aware and have a site key , so they can come in and make themselves visiable .
I hope no one thumps him either , as you all rightly say , it would play into his hands and no doubt delight him !

Good Morning Sue :-)

Hope you have a nice breakfast out.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Sep 2014 22:19

If his strimming has cut down other peoples crops, he should be reported to the police Amanda

Good evening Tec, I hope you have had a nice day, good morning Sue

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 22:16

One of the problems is that a new overall secretary and chairman where elected this year . I've since found out that the new secretary was the only person who put was put forward , he is a nice enough chap but I don't think he has a clue how to handle the situation , none of them seem to have the backbone to demand the key back :-(
The new Chairman has gone on holiday for a month ( we think he will be back next week ? ) . There are legalities to consider , especially if they want it done corectly . He should at the very least , not be allowed on site until it is thrashed out . It is getting awfully tiresome :-\

Tecwyn Report 24 Sep 2014 22:15

Linda It's good that Esme's care has been sorted out, though naughty of the nursery not to have notified you of the changes of staff.

Hopefully Eve doesn't have the number of Centre Parc's in order to book her own holiday :-D

Amanda I think a call to the men in white coats may be the only remedy to the allotment resident nutcase.
Seriously, if the committee has told him to leave, then they will have to get the police to remove him eventually.
Please don't let anyone be provoked into giving him a thump - that will play right into his hands.

Hello everyone - I'm up early as we are off out for breakfast soon.

Amanda - what a nuisance this man has turned out to be. More than a nuisance as he actually sounds dangerous so please take care. I'm sure he would love someone to hit him and will surely have whoever that person is to court.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Sep 2014 22:10

I suppose that the committee will have to take some sort of legal action against him to get him out

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 22:06

It's a gamble Linda but as long as he is on site he is a potential threat :-( if everyone just pussy foots around him , he will think he has won , so it's a bit of a " Hobsons choice " :-S

It is so much easier when a little one takes to school , like a duckling to water :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Sep 2014 21:50

Oh dear Amanda, I hope he doesn't do anymore damage on your allotment.

Eve loves big school, she is very keen to go and is loving the work

Amanda2003 Report 24 Sep 2014 21:31

Hello everyone ,

I've had a quick read back , in an attempt to catch up on everyones news ......phew .

Persie , I hope you are setteling into your new surroundings okay :-)

Sylvia , I hope you don't get to many storms , in your storm season :-0 I'm not actually sure that the seasons know what they are supposed to be doing anymore :-S

Linda , it sounds as if Esme is taking nursery in her stride :-) As you say , it was naughty of them to not mention the main carers absence on the Wednesdays ! I'm pleased to hear that the day has been switched . I hope Eve is getting along alright at school .

Sue , it sounds as if you are having fun and games with your new arrival :-D no doubt she feels as if she has always been around the place already .

Tec , I'm glad to know you had a good visit with the Duchess recently . Life must be SO much better now you have your car back :-D

~~~~~ to Berona and Huia .
News from the allotment : no , he hasn't left yet :-P :-P :-| :-| :-P :-P :-S
If fact , he is back with a vengance it seems ! The " committee " are like a bunch of toothless old lions and are at a loss as to what to do about the idiot . He has been off strimming other plot holders allotments ( includeing the one right next to mine ) , we have photographic evidence and have written more statements at the committee members behest .
To be honest , someone ( probably my OH ) will end up clouting him one if this carries on much longer . We have been attempting to ignore him but yesterday we both " snapped " at the exact same moment . On our way out yesterday , he had positioned himself at the end of his plot ( near the main path ) and was wearing a fixed grin on his stupid face ( it actually looked more like a snarl ? ) , I stuck my hand out of the car window and gave him " the middle finger " , my OH was doing a rather rapid hand movement gesture that rhymes with anchor :-D . By the time we 'd reached the main gate and opened it I was rather surprised to see the idiots back view striding off ( towards our plot ? ) , arms wildly waving in the air , shrugging his shoulders ( as if he was talking loudly with the air around him ? ) , it did look like a most eccentric performance and it certainly made us feel better :-D :-D
LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Sep 2014 09:39
Oh I just missed you Persie.
I hope the physio wasn't too brutal with you Sylvia.
It is a lovely sunny morning here, but i think we are forecast rain later on. That will probably be the second after I come out of the hairdressers :-(
I didn't speak to my daughter last night, but we had an early morning phone call from Eve informing us that she wants to go to the theme park with the holiday houses. She means Center Parcs with the fancy swimming pools. She has said it several times recently,so I guess hanma and granddad better organise a weekend sometime soon.
Apparently esme had a good day at nursery yesterday, she even managed one feed without being sick at all. They have reorganised the days she goes. It was supposed to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Her parents look after her for the other two days. The problem was that her main carer is doing a university course on a Wednesday afternoon, so wasn't going to be there for much of the day, some days not at all. That meant Esme being looked after by an assortment of other people with the nursery manager coming in to do the feeds. I wasn't happy about that at all as Esme needs constant attention, so thankfully they have swapped the days.
It was a bit naughty of the nursery not to tell my daughter that when she was arranging the days in the first place. I suppose they didn't realise how much care Esme was going t need
