I should take it to the shop Sue, they may be able to fix it, and it could be something simple.

Why would I need coffee..mmmm?!?....:-D

I have started off a load of washing and forgotten about the tablet until I can find the book and see what's going on. A new keyboard has come up and it won't go away. It won't let me type. I may have to take it to the Apple shop :-(

Good Afternoon Sylvia,

We will all be on our best behaviour while you are away. :-)

Good Morning Sue,

Please don't be grumpy - it will bring lines to your face :-)

I had my SIL get me a tablet while I was in hospital in February. I had hardly used it, and was only just getting to grips with it when it died. It seemed not able to accept a charge.
I gave it back to him some time ago with the guarantee etc, but have heard nothing yet - must give him another nudge.
Probably sitting on his desk collecting dust :-(

oh dear!

have you had your coffee this morning, Sue???

SueMaid Report 5 Oct 2014 22:50

Oh...I've missed Linda again :-(

I'm having such problems with my tablet - I think it wants me to upgrade and is punishing me because I haven't yet :-( I'm grumpy :-|

Hi everyone

Tec .......... Milo must like the company, better than he likes to have a warm sleeping place :-)

I've found even walking with a cane can present problems that you don't think about when able-bodied!

we have some lovely sun again this afternoon, although it was cloudy this morning.

we're waiting for our friend form the Island to arrive .......... she'll be here until Tuesday, and I don't think I will be able to get on until then.

behave yourselves while I'm absent :-D

Goodnight Linda - sleep well,

and yes, Milo was curled up beside my bed again this morning. He has a very comfortable bed of his own, and he must have been quite cold - silly dog :-)

OH is tired and wants to go to sleep even though it is stupidly early, so I will say goodnight.

Sorry I have not waited for the upside down people to arrive

I am having terrible trouble getting the thread to open tonight, so may not last much longer

Did Milo sleep with you again last night?

Tecwyn Report 5 Oct 2014 21:33

I agree Linda - there are so many "challenges" or aggravations if you like, living life in a wheelchair.
Just have to try and overcome them as you meet them. There are solutions to most difficulties.

We just don't see them when we have two legs to walk about on.

I don't have many wifi minutes left, so I may disappear before anyone turns up

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Oct 2014 21:04

I am full of admiration for you Tec, I don't know how you manage to cope so well in your wheel chair. I have only had a week of it and have discovered so many annoying things. I also have two legs even if one of them doesn't want to bend. Things are too low to get up from, there is nothing to hold onto and there are silly little steps everywhere.

I used to push my mum round,so I am used to ramps being far too steep to use, tight turns in doorways etc, but it is a real eye opener being in the chair

We are just back from dinner, the food here is very good, which is no good for the old waistline.

OH has had a couple of walks out today. He had a walk along the beach this morning, then went off in search of an ATM machine this afternoon. In the restaurant we just sign the. Wine to the room, but oddly in the lunchtime snack bar/ restaurant you can't sign. That is odd as it is part of the hotel and has the same staff. It is either cash or card.

Only one more day to go then we will be homeward bound

It's cloudy and windy here too, but dry. They forecast 14C but I think it's warmer than that.
I've been working in the garden this afternoon, trimming a hedge with extendable tree lopper.
Milo was supervising :-D
He is waiting for the lady that walks him to arrive, she will be here soon.

Well I have to go to put the dinner on now,

Sorry Mersey, I didn't see your post. I am Feuterventura, just for a week, topping up the tan before winter strikes

It is very windy and cloudy today, but still about 25 w hitch is fine. We have partaken of a leisurely lunch and have come back to the suite for a rest before venturing out onto the sun beds in our sheltered courtyard to read even more. It is a shame we haven't been able to venture out apart from taking a taxi to the clinic, but it is very restful and peaceful.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Oct 2014 10:13

Good morning Mersey

Sorry I disappeared last night , the Internet cut off.

Millo's collar sounds an excellent idea Tec, much easier than falling over him in the dark.

I can just imagine you chasing after Maisie Sue :-D Sounds like she needs some doggie training classes.

It is now Sunday morning and we have just returned from another hotel breakfast. Time for a rest, then it will be time to laze by the pool.

The latest information on that seniors' complex fire on the 6 pm evening TV news was that there is no reason to suspect arson.

But there has been so much water damage that it is questionable as to whether anything can be salvaged.

The sprinkler system had been fully installed ................ but was not yet turned on, otherwise the damage would have been much less.

The firemen will be there for possibly another 2 days, damping down hot spots.
